You can be metal in 2 players and you don't have to unlock it. Its just a lot of buttons you have to hold during loading screen. I just forget what buttons they are.

the metal thingy is NOT a hack its a cheat hold Y ( xbox ) or triangle ( playstation) while selecting a level ( only if you have 150 of those goal ring thingys its available but in multiplayer its always available ) ( ONE THING keep holding Y or triangle while loading and in multiplayer keep holding one of those two while selecting your team) the super form thing IS a hack

@MrVitaliy1998 Oh look who knows so much. This is actually the PC version of the game. This is not a cheat; there is no way to do the metal skins in 1 player. I did edit the textures. If you get all the emblems, you get super hard mode, that's all.

@AaronStone2 You cannot hack a console game unless you get a rom/iso of it. Even then there is no documentation of hacking the sonic heroes iso. So no you can't rewrite the game scripts.

@AaronStone2 A rom chip is the computer chip inside a cartridge so a backup of the game is called a rom. An iso is a disk image. So an iso is essentially the same thing as a rom but just for disk games.

@AaronStone2 yeah most roms have been hacked. the hard part is finding documentation on it. The sonic hacking community has the most detailed noted on hacking almost any sonic rom. isos are harder just because they are much more complex. (1 megabite for sonic 2 verses 1.4 gigabites for sonic heroes). It's pretty easy to hack older roms and definitely possible to hack newer isos but much more difficult.
