I didn't get it at first either. But I think she's saying that her significant other left her for another girl, who he thought was perfect. The girl that he thought was an "angel" hurt him, and Brandy was the one who really loved him. The phrase "Angel in Disguise" is misleading. I think she meant to say that the girl was pretending to be an angel.
