How come they sold out when they funded the whole album by themselves to stay independent and be able to write music that might not be as commercially successful as a possible record company would like it to be?

I'm not a huge fan of Young Modern either but saying that they sold out is just not fair.

They would be sell-outs if they continued to write heavy music to please the listeners even if they didn't like that music anymore. They've just become too soft and experimental,but no sell-outs
