So the mill is right on the ball, no waiting for them to finish their donut?
I ran the electric Hood crane inside a chipper mill for a while.
Had to take the 2-3 cord a minute from the drum and get it to feed into the chipper along with the stuff being fed straight in from the ring...talk about busy!
@effinghamhick i bet you were busy we stay preaty busy to got 5 machines and 3 workers plus trucking and tinkering every so often we have to wait in line at the mill but not vary much, what mill did you work at?
@effinghamhick when your in the loader if you try and load strait on the tier your working on its alot easyer, it takes about a half hour to get unloaded

How often do you bang the stakes with the heel? I'd have hell trying not to..
And what's the off-load time at the mill? I'd sure hate waiting around for it.

What is time consuming is cutting 18 ft. logs for crane mats. You can only do 1 at a time.
