  • Absolute work of art, working the leather and the processes involved craftsmanship at ts best .

  • Would you want to open the courses in Los Angeles L.A.?

  • simply awe inspiring

  • You are an artist. Amazing!!!

  • Worth every minute of my life to watch that process. Amazing. Never knew so many layers, very impressive!

  • Beautiful, beautiful shoes.

  • Suuuuuper!!!! Afigieni batukai - ble nerealiai turetu kainuot bapkyciu %O

  • Bravo!

  • And he probably made only a dollar making those shoes.

  • Incredible to see how difficult and lengthy making of a pair of shoes.

And there thinking that my dad did this work when he was young.

    I could never attend. Unfortunately.

Respect, for them how do it.

  • OK - how much?

  • That was awesome.

I had no idea so much work goes into making hand made dress shoes.

Now I can stop driving my local shoe maker shop wondering how he stays in business.

Its clear to me now that its a hell of a lot of work and knowledge to fix / make a shoe.

How different is it from making sneakers???

  • How long is the whole real time making process? Like a month?

  • нахуя я это посмотрел

  • fantastic, but a lot of time goes into making just the one shoe, how long does it usually take to make a pair, and I assume one would have to charge a lot of money for the time and artful skills to make a pair, no?

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sorprendente grande maestro !.... XDDDDDDDDDDD

  • They turned out so beautiful! I love shoes & boots and that was really interesting...I have a new appreciation for what it takes to make a nice pair of shoes.

  • Beautiful Craft :)

  • im trying to make shoes like vans and converse and this helped me alot and i think van like shoes would be easier just the soles will be harder to figure out

  • @DECIFERTHIS09 vans and converse sneakers are made in factories by the millions, not by hand made with leather, skill and patience. your prototype may be hand made, but this craft takes time.

  • All that skill and patience, beautiful Craft

  • Beautiful <3!

  • any idea about the cost of those hand made shoes ?

  • I have seen this video three times,,Awesome to see. I don't know what it is about shoes or boots..When i was younger i was looking for a good pair of shoes..In the store i could not make a choice from all the shoe they had..By chance there was an older lady there too.buying shoes. And all my shoe are good.thank U

  • Watching you make these shoes has me wondering , if this was me handing over these shoes would be a challenge not being a machine , having spent this much time

its beautiful Thank you for sharing your craft!

  • Wow, this is an amazing set of videos. I found myself totally captivated by the process. Incredible

  • How much are these shoes?!!?!! They look VERY EXPENSIVE!

  • To see me live, and to experience what it feels like to be a shoemaker, come to my hands-on course in New York in November, or be an apprentice in my workshop for a month in Budapest, Hungary.

  • @MarcellHUN

Too bad i live in canada, else i would love to apprentice

  • totally amazing... i can only hope one day i could make something so precise and beautiful

  • Well done on posting your videos on how to make a shoe from start to finish. But I do have a quibble: there is no voiceover in your video. It's fine when people who are professionals know what you are doing, but for novices or just "passers by" they would have no idea what you are doing and would need an explanation.

Very interesting work. Well done. :)

  • You are definitely someone who takes pride, and knows how to make a great shoe. Thanks a lot for showing me, and everyone else these videos. I didn't know is was so demanding to make a shoe. It must be hard to make two the same given the shaving of the leather to thickness.

Thanks a lot, and I hope you've had success with such a craft. I want to learn how to make leather belts, but came across this video, and it was well worth it.

    Thanks again.

  • Congratulations. Good job. You are the best.

  • beautiful and high quality

    maestro zapatero!!!

  • Absolutely brilliant work.

  • 3 letter's..1 meaning..P.R.O! love it man

    thats 100% buyable shoe'ss!

  • What do you do with all that scrap leather?

How durable are shoes like these, what sort of conditions are they built to face? Looks like smooth floors only but then again I don't know what you plastered all over them.

Beautiful work, can't wait to see your other videos.

  • Leather soles with this particular welt can be replaced. Depending on how often/how much you abuse the shoes, soles should last a couple of years.

Handmade shoes should be good for 20 years.

  • durable: depending on how you use them (never use them as combat boots)

conditions: bussiness conferences, politic speeches, car driving etc...

if i had those shoes i would admire the one who made them

  • Just watched all 6 clips and really enjoyed it.

From my childhood to this very day one thing never changed, and is the joy and admiration that gives me seeing a skillful artisan master performing his work and able to turn rough materials into art pieces .

My compliments for the great work and for the very nice videos .

    Grazie maestro.

    Andrea

  • Great stuff, thank you!

I just want to make really simple leather shoes without gigantic, bumper-car soles, and use nice leather. I hate the leather on virtually all shoes made these days, save for some obscure designers. I've got all these great shoes/boots from the 60's, and I can't figure out why no one uses leather like that anymore. Now it's always this cheap, plasticky looking garbage that starts drying and cracking within a year.

  • I thought that yelow color will stay, and that will be ugly...But now, at the and....WOOOOOW!!! I don't know what to say anymore! 10* stars!!

  • awesome shoes. [:

  • hello friend i`m awemen shoemaker & designer u r so profsional & i can say u r the best ``i love u``

  • great job

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!

  • WOW!!!! That was awesome! I have must respect for this art form/gift. To me that is definitely what it is. A true gift. Not many people think about the depth of what it takes to make shoes and how we as human beings easily disregard this fact. I already take great care of anything that God bless me with. But after seeing this, it makes me just that more grateful for a person like you who creates and put much passion into such a beautiful thing.

    Thank you,

    Lovely

  • I`m in tears, men. Did I said that I love you?

  • Shoes go by $250.00 and up. Boots go by $344.00 and up. How much does a German working men/woman make an hour for this?

  • These shoes are all handmade in Budapest I believe - Marcell is a frequent poster on Styleforum. His Koronya shoes are always beautiful, and substantially more than $250 a pair.

  • AWESOMEEE

  • hello Mr. I found your video very interessante. thank you to share your knowledge with us. Could you help me? I seek the shapes out of wood or other matters to make boots western or shoes, could you say to me or I could find that? would have an address to be given to me thank you in advance for your answer. Fabian

  • great video, I can almost smell the glue

  • Those are so beautiful. Simply stunning. Thank you for the videos, I am interested in the process of sewn shoemaking and I had a hard time finding pictures of the process at first.

How long did a whole shoe take?

  • how come it have no grips on the sole of the shoe? i was kind of hopin to see how to make the grip after watching all those videos from before

  • A beautiful art!

  • Nice set of video`s. I am a Bespoke Shoemaker myself, working in the Othotic Industry. We do have a number of machines to help us in this process. So it`s nice to see a shoe made totaly by hand...

  • Hello, thinking of making my own pair of shoes now, how much leather do you use for one pair of shoes. And what would you say is the cost of material that goes into one pair?

  • How It's Made (the TV show) needs to make a video on bespoke shoes.

Awesome video, even with no audio it's very informative. Thanks for putting this up.

  • I have nothing against it.. :) Thanks for watching!

  • .

    Excelentes vídeos.

    Congratulations ... Brazil.

    .

  • I absolutely loved watching all those specific tools and techniques. That's what my maternal grandfather was doing, apparently. I never met him.

  • All your five-part videos in making a hand made men's shoe is just awesome. This takes a lot of skill and talent. Bravo!!!

  • Addictive. you just have to watch them all. consummate skill. thank you.

  • Exceptional contribution
