@1916army Actually they are designed for Softball and/or Baseball. They are meant to keep the foul balls from going back behind the fence :) But never the less, this guy is pretty good!
last time i went on a tree swing, the rope snapped, i broke my arm and needed an operation to put the bone back in place... i avoid them at pretty much ALL COST NOW!!!
dude im not gona lie thats awsome dont know many ppl who can clime a tree strait up like that...and on a side note i hate you for making it look so simple but good job my friend
Whilst I think you're wasting your time in the gym with your technique there, way to scale that freakin tree. For what you're doing, you might as well leave the weights right out of it and stick with the calisthetics and isometrics.
dude i've been watching your vid's and i have to say you are really really doing a good job, not only are you building strength but also you're becoming more determined to overcome even harder challenges, much respect!
great tree climbing. Really impressive. But you're a kid, I hope you have 50 years ahead of you to walk run and climb. So take my old man advice and find a way to have a back up plan when you climb. Never put yourself in a situation where falling might turn you into a quadraplegic. Telephone linemen have ways to do it. You can too. Use your noggin before that's all you have to use.
wow theirs alot of haters on this page.I give this guy alot of the respect for what he does.Everybody is probably just jealous that they cant do half the stuff that this guy does
really enjoyed reading your thoughts on trees and climbing them. I love climbing trees myself, and there's nothing like propelling yourself upwards to the limits of the tree and taking in the quietness. Have enjoyed your videos.
Remarkable, I find your feats astounding my comrade, may we who study the code to live our lives in harmony with the earth and the ever flowing chi it has to offer continue to prosper..
Peace is a lie, there is only passion, through passion i gain strength, through strength I gain power, through power I gain Victory, and through Victory my chains are broken. The force shall set us free.
@NixSeraph Hey i have a question. How do you climb those wide trunk trees without your feet slipping? I climb branchless trees myself because i find it to be a very good workout. I can climb the skinny ones with ease but i like to have more of a challenge, so i try the more wide ones but i can never get a good grip on the tree with my feet. I always slip. Any advice?
Nope. In this video, I'm just wearing plain old Nike running shoes. The shoes I now prefer to wear while training are called the "Vibram Five Fingers." Check them out. As far as grip, mobility and balance are concerned, the Vibram Five Fingers are the best!
@NixSeraph 1:22, no way you coulda released both hands with normal shoes. You have some type of spikes in order to hold traction...I've climbed poles and been around tree trimmers for a longggg time. 1:22 your feet would have kicked out no matter what shoe you were wearing the instant you released both hands...yet they didn't even waver..not once. I call bullshit.
Can you do dead stairs? Or what ever its named cant rememper the name, if you whanna make a video where your doing it then, i'll sup you, if you answer here :)
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "dead stairs." If you (or anyone else) can explain to me what they are, I'll happily give 'em a try.
Haha i love it, finally some one else who uses NatMov. Just wondering do you get weird looks by everyone when your climbing . Because everyone always stares like I am an alien. If only people knew the extreme amount of all around strength and stamina this builds. Any way excellent video.
I think he is talking about the "Devil Steps" from stage 3. The one where you go under a stair well with your hands, turn around at the top and come back down, too easy for you bro!
All human beings should be able to do what you do, but the way society is, it's scarce to see someone in tip-top shape. I used to be able to do everything in this video (And often.) when I was eight. Unfortunately I followed the path of the nerd. My only athletic accomplishment since has been doing crazy hard songs on Dance Dance Revolution / In the Groove.
Keep up the videos. I'd love to be able to do such physical things once again, unfortunately I lack the knowledge of how to "start." Hmm..
That's awesome, my friend! Didn't I tell you so? It absolutely KILLS the fingers! But it's all for the Ninja training, and I'm glad to hear that you went out to try it for yourself and you made it.
And yes, my fingers HAVE strengthened since I started the chain-link fence climbing. The first time I did it (only two weeks ago), I could only do it once before my fingers would give out. Yesterday, I was able to do it three times, one right after the other.
Argentina, huh? That's awesome! I've always wanted to travel South America... Angel Falls of Venezuela, the high Andes Mountains of Peru & Chile, the great Amazon Rainforest. It's an honor to have such a dedicated fan and friend so many, many miles away. Thank you!
Climb, climb, climb. That's how. Over the many years of climbing trees, my hands and fingers have callused and strengthened to the point that I can climb just about anything. I invite you to out and try it for yourself. Bring out the kid in you and start climbing those trees!
I haven't decided yet. G4 is holding their "American Ninja Warrior" competition tryouts later this month in Santa Monica, California. Only problem is: I live 700 miles away in Salt Lake, and money is pretty scarce right now.
Honestly, I'm still looking at getting to Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) by going directly through the Japanese companies TBS & Monster9. Don't worry. I plan on keeping all my YouTube fans informed with what's going to happen.
