I live in a state that has no mechanism for 'third' party primaries; and that with no legal justification whatsoever, we (the taxpayers) are forced to foot the bill for the two corporatist parties. I would like to be able to participate in the Green Party nominating process, but my state illegally excludes third parties from the official primaries.

How exciting to see and hear the Green Party alternative. The level of discussion is quite good, considering most of these candidates are not politicians. Cynthia McKinney would broaden the focus and appeal of the Green Party. Personally I identified with Kent Mesplay. This is grassroots democracy!

As a green who supports dennis and campaigned a bit for him in 04, I have a bone to pick with you over that. But it's true he's made a strategically different choice, even though his agenda is basically the same as ours. He and McKinney are friends, but more than that are allies. It's fine to work w/truly progressive democrats, I just don't think we should be under their tent when our own is even better.
