Stay young Ralph. Thanks for giving Americans yet another chance to truly make their nation great. Again, you give new meaning to the words 'diligence' and 'stamina'. You are the antonym of the induced torpor that engulfs your nation. At the very very least, you can take great pride in all the contributions you have already made, and have attempted to make, for the American people. One day, hopefully when there is still time, they will fully realize it.
Good video. Single-payer health plan (govt.) needed. Tax money taken from the rich and given to the poor and middle-class needed. Out of Iraq needed. Living wage for workers needed.
The democrats have proven that they are no different then the republicans by voting to continue to fund the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through congressional budget approvals for the last five years, and by continuing to support the war on terror scam that systematically removes our freedom under the false pretense of providing security, and the democrats also refuse to impeach Bush, Cheney and the rest of those war criminals.
The democratic machine and the republican machine are both just that, machines. They are both big businesses that feed off of us. Voting for either party would be throwing my vote away. There may be small changes if you vote one way or the other. I feel we need to let both parties know that a large number of people are tired of their lack of progress in many areas and that maybe we could upset their apple cart. That is the only way the two major parties pay any attention.

You do have a choice. There are more than two candidates. People that think otherwise have been fooled by the Corporate Parties. Don't compromise your principles by letting them steal your vote with such nonsensical logic.
Don't give your vote to garbage candidates like McCain or Obama. McCain is a hawk and Obama is a chameleon.
The Democrats have done nothing substantial to prosecute the criminals in the current administration.
I am still voting for Nader too. We need to start making people see that we have been brainwashed. Once people start seeing this, there will be great changes. Stand up and vote for the best choice - Nader / Gonzalez in November 2008!
Unless I find a better candidate, I'll be voting for Nader in November! And that is something I'll be proud of. I can't, with good conscience, simply vote for the least worst. I'm going to vote for the candidate that best represents ME and has the best interest of the people at heart.
OPEN THE DEBATES...and then we'll see a real race! What I wouldn't give to see Mr. Nader debate circles around those other two.

It is imperative that you vote for Ralph Nader in the upcoming general elections this November. Nader is the one running candidate remaining that promises to bring US Military Personnel home from Iraq and to put a stop to the increasing military threats against Iran and Russia.
The expenditures of the war in Iraq have amounted to over $545 billion worth of American Taxpayers' incomes since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in March of 2003 and it is expected to cost the U.S. government over $3 trillion in the near future. There are a growing number of websites all across the internet that validate the actual pretexts for the invasion of Iraq as an instrument for large corporations to take possession of the major oil reserves in Iraq and other Middle Eastern regimes.
America! Shake off the shackles of your polyarchy. Vote for Ralph Nader in '08. Check with your state electoral official, you may have to sign a petition to get him on the ballot, don't worry: its easy. He has been fighting for Americans' rights for decades, and succeeding. You all deserve a leader/administration that will resepect your admirable constitution with diligence and integrity. So in November just remember: Vote for Ralph Nader in '08!
I question why Nader is not allowed in the debates. What are "they" afraid of? Perhaps they are afraid that they will be showed up and major truths will be revealed. I am pretty much sick of the forked tongue political speak of our "popular" candidates. They speak, actuall, with double forked tongue. Then who knows what they said. Did they answer the question or sweep the truth under the rug. Nader would not allow that to happen, and I am venturing that this is reason he is not allowed in.
If Nader / Gonzalez is not on your ballot in your state - just write in NADER / GONZALEZ. I know that neither of the popular candidates is who I want governing our nation. Nader / Gonzalez makes more sense. Hey, i was a Ron Paul supporter. However, Nader / Gonzalez is a good choice too.
That is the mentality that has to be changed. We need to start voting our conscience instead of voting the popular choices. If more and more start doing so, then our vote will count. As it stands with the two popular choices - it really sucks. So, I'd rather make a point with my lone vote than to appease the powers that be and corporate America. Vote your mind and heart, not what we are handcuffed to.
Meanwhile all that grandstanding won't change the fact that he will not win. He won't. Not gonna happen. You may not like either candidate, but flushing your vote down the toilet on Nader in order to make a point is silly. You guys do this every year. It would have been nice if you guys had voted against Bush in 2004. Thumbs down all you like, it won't change the fact that Nader will lose and lets face it, has already lost. You guys are just tossing your vote into the garbage. Thanks.
Now, I pushed thumbs up by mistake. I meant to push thumbs down. I don't feel I am tossing my vote in the garbage. It is all about building momentum for the next time. People need to get used to the fact that they do have alternatives than democrate or republican. We do have a choice between status quo and progress. We need to continuously progress. Thumbs down for an honest opinion that you have not disputed. The fact that he will not win. People don't have any other choices because stupidity is in the majority. By the time they realize that a really dramatic change is possible and needed, it will be too late. This is simply obvious. Call me a cynic if you like, but you know that your vote for Nader is nothing more than a protest that will not be taken seriously by anyone.
I do not dispute what you are saying. That is not what I intend on doing. In fact, I agree with you. I do think as well that either way we go with the two popular candidates, we all lose. I am sorry. I hope this is not the case though. Well, if I had my druthers between the two then Obama will be my choice (if I had to make that choice).
"Well, if I had my druthers between the two then Obama will be my choice (if I had to make that choice)"

Well said. There is not a chance in hell Id vote for McCain or Obama, even if there were no third party candidates running. I would write in a candidate or simply not vote.
I'm not crazy about the Democratic party myself, but voting for Nader isn't going to keep McCain out of the White House. The Republican party is turning this entire country into a disaster area, and they must be stopped. I'd vote for Opus the Penguin if I thought he could beat McCain.
Not enough to get us any national coverage on the mainstream media and be included in the Presudential debates.
Grow up please. The GOP is equally as frightned of Nader as he got more votes from Republicans than Democrats in 2000. That's because he's more conservative than coporate Depunlicans and more progressive than corporate Demohawks.
These people are delusional beyond all comprehension. If I thought Nader had a chance in hell, I would vote for him. He has none at all. It is just foolishness to vote for him knowing that he is not going to win.
Nader's inclusion in this election is about more than winning... Do you want to have to wear Exxon overalls every day? Have every decision in your life dictated to you by big corporations? Didn't think so. Then people like Ralph Nader, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich must have a voice in our elections, not just shills for big business, like Hillary, Obama, and McCain.
The news today is that everyone is wondering why Obama doesn't have a commanding lead in the polls over McCain. Some say it's racial.
I think it's because he's sold out the progressive wing of the Dems. I worked for his campaign as a precinct captain in Iowa and I feel like Obama stabbed us in the back. He used us because he knew we'd be energized and he played us like cheap fiddles.
Make your vote count. In Iowa we'll flip the state red. Maybe the Dems will "get it", maybe not.
You have one of the bigger over-regulated Federal programs in our country and you think pumping more money into a terrible no-child left behind federal Program is going to solve this problem? -- Please Explain
Again when you when you subsidize something like our failing school systems without true reform you will get more of it.
Correct that is not why we are seeing graduation rates in the mid 50% for several states and our best states only able to reach around 88%
The Federal level of funding last year was 68.6 BILLION dollars -- This does not include state and local funding that school for school districts that can vote for additional funding. If you tact this on you are easily around 100+ Billion Dollars -- for these results?? You have to be kidding me -- the system is broken and needs to be reformed.
Oh I agree, it's broken. and I've never been a fan of NCLB. As an artist, knowing that the arts fueled my desire to create, I always cringe when it comes to education budgets. The Arts are the first to go, sadly.
Thanks for the edumacation, what do you think a good overhaul plan looks like?
Exactly on the mark. So our job for the next few weeks is to keep pointing this out. I have found that the more sentient Obama supporters are having these same doubts. Yet they still want to vote for Obama to block McCain. We need to overcome that argument.
We also need to somehow engage the MSM in covering the Nader campaign as well as the other outsider parties. Even the "progressive" media won't cover it... I've been ousted from HuffPo for posting about Nader...
"We need to overcome that argument." Simple wjniemi: you just have to realise that it isn't an argument at all, and that to vote for the candidate you know to be the best for the job will always ease your conscience; you tried. And if 3mil voted for him last time...
Remember in November to vote for Ralph Nader! FOIA, Clean Drinking Water Act; there exists a litany of contributions. Mr.Nader has been working to preserve the fundamentals of the US's admirable constitution for 4 decades.
I might try to make it out to the Minneapolis one since I'm gonna be there a couple days prior for the Rally for the Republic.
You folks going to Denver be aware that the Dems have a huge warehouse which resembles something out of Nazi Germany to hold protesters. Seriously, I'm not kidding. I wish I had the youTube link but it's there. That said, BRING CAMCORDERS!! EVERYONE BRING CAMCORDERS!! PROTECT YOURSELF. The Dems are so far gone, it's laughable.
Gosh, I hope I can come out to one of the super rallies. Not sure if I can swing the drive (lack of funds, work, etc.), but dammit we need to stand up and demonstrate. I'll surely do everything in my power to come out and show support.
I really wish this guy would win!! He's so awesome, and he embodies the greatness of this country. It's so sad to see that the greatest gift to the world, democracy, is being given a bad name all over the world by corporations=greedy bitches, and corrupt politicians. They're everywhere, but in this country, they're the majority. Nader is the most authentic person on the political scene I know. You know he will never betray the cause.

Make your vote count. In Iowa we'll flip the state red. Maybe the Dems will "get it", maybe not.

Obomba & McBush are the same.BOTH want:
1 military expansion when US is in debt, healthcare, infrustructure & education is underfunded, & gov. spending on military already> 50%
2 commit US taxpayers to annually fund Israel's military occupying Palestine to pander to AIPAc
3 occupation in Iraq, including private contractors "to conduct counter terroism missions against Al Qaeda in Iraq"
4 increase war in Afghanistan where more civilians have died than 9/11
5 expand war on terror to Pakistan

Great Post 0613162k
Though I do not think Education is under funded -- it has never had more money or worse problems -- when you subsidize something you get more of it
#3 made me smile- Al Qaeda in Iraq
6 protect the TAP pipeline from Turkmenistan to India while in Afghanistan
7 both are for FISA
8 both voted for the uPaatriot act
9 Both voted for national Ids
10 both support the FED Printing money from thin air devaluing our currency
11 Both will keep troops in over 130 countries

@ Patriot4Liberty,
I can always tell a Ron Paul supporter when I see the Federal Reserve issue voiced and I agree with everything you put down.
That quote was from Obama's website under a false headline of "a resposible phased withdrawl from Iraq".

"I do not think Education is under funded"
O RLY?
timpedersen 3 years ago
You have one of the bigger over-regulated Federal programs in our country and you think pumping more money into a terrible no-child left behind federal Program is going to solve this problem? -- Please Explain
Again when you when you subsidize something like our failing school systems without true reform you will get more of it.
Patriot4Liberty1776 3 years ago 2
Correct that is not why we are seeing graduation rates in the mid 50% for several states and our best states only able to reach around 88%
The Federal level of funding last year was 68.6 BILLION dollars -- This does not include state and local funding that school for school districts that can vote for additional funding. If you tact this on you are easily around 100+ Billion Dollars -- for these results?? You have to be kidding me -- the system is broken and needs to be reformed.
Patriot4Liberty1776 3 years ago

I know. For those who don't know what the Democrats are planning for peace protesters,
watch youtube video entitled:
"Martial Law Declared for Democratic National Convention"
(Luckilly the Nader campaign has rented an aren in the Denver university for a protest rally to avoid being locked up in a cage)

Artistspop 3 years ago 4
Gosh, I hope I can come out to one of the super rallies. Not sure if I can swing the drive (lack of funds, work, etc.), but dammit we need to stand up and demonstrate. I'll surely do everything in my power to come out and show support.

This video is awesome!
I love Nader!
