n the series finale of Dawson's Creek they made Jenny sick she died. She was a main character so anything is possible. I would hate for it to be Nathan bc he really has overcome so much in his life including changing himself, dealing w/ his parents, his Dad and working on his marriage with Haley it seems unfair that the writers could kill his character off. He has a lot to do for his future, including to continue to give his kids what he never had....a real Dad and not a monster like Dan.
I read something that the producers said. They said that the death will be a two part episode and it isn't really about the character's death, but what led to the character's death. They said that the death will also involve selflessness.

Guys you are so naive. It's clearly Dan. Think about it, the past seasons with them as grown ups have been failures. The only possibly way to make up for that is to redeem Dan. Hes going to save Nathan and in order to do that he has to sacrifice himself. Think about it.

Let's do process of elimination, from what we know. Body identification usually goes to next-of-kin,which brings us down to three people, and two originals....Lucas, Nathan, and Quinn. My bet says Lucas.

The only original characters body Haley would only be identifying is Nathans but i don't think it'll turn out to be his as that would tell you who died straight away and i don't think they'd make it so obvious. I still think it could be Brooke as she might be in the last episode but they haven't said which episode the death happens in so it could be the last one. Bevin comes back for last episode maybe thats a clue to who it is, guess we'll all have to tune in and see x
Nathan is kidnapped, Dan and Chris will want to rescue him i don't think Nathan dies though i think the police think its him and thats why Haley has to identify the body possible chance that it could be Dan. Jamie won't be the 1 who dies as he's not an origanal character. If the car crash is what causes the death then its Brooke who dies, if you look carefully there are two people in that car both with long hair my guess is its Brooke and Victoria hope not as its nice to see her happy at last.

Could it be Payton so it leads to the return of Lucas? Or could it be Lucas?
If it's Mouth of Skills or Dan, I don't think Hayley will be that upset. And since it's an original character it won't be Quinn or Clay or Jamie or Julien.
That leaves us Nathan and Brooke. But if either of them die the show will be too dark to watch...

Mark has always said to nathan and haley fans to "keep the faith" everytime something happens between them because he will never seperate them. so i dont think he will kill nathan.and if he does then he would have lied to ALL naley fans for years. Also i think its brooke because the person in the car driving was a girl with brown hair. Loosing any original character is just messed up and its plain wrong doing that to the fans. If you have to kill anyone kill Dan....well all survive that one.

Youtube wouldn't let me post it but if you check the OTH s9 wiki pg it says that James Lafferty (Nathan) signed on for the series finale & he also said so on twitter so its definitely not him who dies. Also Sophia Bush (Brooke) & Bethany Joy Galeotti (Haley) stated on her twitter that she wrapped on the Series Finale , Bethany also said Jackson Brundage (Jamie) wrapped the same day! Chances are, Dan, Quinn, Clay, or maybe even Jullian because he was shown to be beaten in the promo. Hope not tho

i was thinking dan at first but hailey wouldnt be so upset then maybe she will get closer to him up coming episodes and thats why they have him stay at their house idk though she looked really upset so im thinking peyton since she wont be back they can just show some car accident and say they hear she was in one then i thought oh no skills or what about her sister which would make more sense as to why shes so upset yes she survived a gun shot wound but now a car accident. ??

I think it's Dan, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were Brooke or Nathan or Jamie(although idk if he's an "original character") Mark Shwann holds no bars.
I remember watching the beginning of season 8 and I was like oh no Clay is gonna die. My friend who doesn't really watch the show was like "no they never kill the popular characters in a show" -__- if only she knew

Personally I think we will be surprised at who dies. From the looks of all the promos you would think Nathan because Haley is looking at the body, but to me that is just too obvious. I think it's just a tease. Maybe Haley was just dreaming it's Nathan then she wakes up. Since it has been confirmed it's an original character who dies, you only have a few options but OTH tends to surprise us all the time right?

It could be Jamie? Anyone think that? It *could* be Nathan... I've read that he gets kidnapped this season and also that Haley will be pushed to her limits... It couldn't be Lucas, Lucas for many people IS One Tree Hill, even though he's not in it anymore... it couldn't be Dan because they've tried to kill him practically every season and it hasn't stuck (and let's be honest, we all love to hate Dan!)

I dont know if anyone else will agree with me, but my opinion is maybe Dan kills Chris Keller? they are the only one in the car & Dan has a gun. Maybe Dan turns on him? or Chase couldve killed Chris because hes seen being arrested. who knows? I think it might be Chris, because Nathan in one of the MAIN characters Mark wouldnt do that to his fans on the very last season... its also a possiblility that its not nathan or Chris and Haley is just relieved that it isnt him... Anyways I CANT WAIT! <3

The only original characters body Haley would only be identifying is Nathans but i don't think it'll turn out to be his as that would tell you who died straight away and i don't think they'd make it so obvious. I still think it could be Brooke as she might be in the last episode but they haven't said which episode the death happens in so it could be the last one. Bevin comes back for last episode maybe thats a clue to who it is, guess we'll all have to tune in and see x

Nathan is kidnapped, Dan and Chris will want to rescue him i don't think Nathan dies though i think the police think its him and thats why Haley has to identify the body possible chance that it could be Dan. Jamie won't be the 1 who dies as he's not an origanal character. If the car crash is what causes the death then its Brooke who dies, if you look carefully there are two people in that car both with long hair my guess is its Brooke and Victoria hope not as its nice to see her happy at last.
