Also if u put their coller on toooo tight their eyes MIGHT plop out.u gotta clean the wrinkles on their face. But yeah they r very playfull dogs. I highly recomend

@Lenar2541 pugs r the best.They r damn friendly and very playfull.If its ur first dog ever...just close ur eyes and go for a pug..Another good choice is a golden retreiver.Its also very friendly and very playfull.Go for pug I wud say they r damn adorable and lovely with kids.U can go for any gender.A female dog will bleed (periods) from her vagina during her season.So if ur ok with that u can go for a female.Else go for a male.Wichever gender they r just adorable and they will b ur best friend.

My wife didn't like pugs at first but when i got one (a female) and took her home, she instantly loved the pug. Mine is really adorable and it likes to be pampered so much that it does funny antics just to have our attention. Get one, but be responsible and caring masters. Learn about this breed first. Do extensive research about what desirable qualities a pug should have and how to take proper care of them.

German Shepherds are very friendly to other dogs so long as the other dogs don't threaten them. Trust me, I know from experience. Pugs are very rarely aggressive, so your parents are really just trying to make cheap excuses.
