Why is wrestling the only sport condemned when people say "Girls shouldn't compete with guys"? It's considered "men's wrestling" by colleges and you don't see guys attempting to join women's volleyball teams and saying that they're "just afraid of losing."

@bama2632 What about forfeits? I was a 103 once and got lots of "forfeit" wins. Should they count? Well besides the fact that I had to WIN wrestle-offs for the chance to earn the forfeit, it also earns the team 6 points, and I look at a team forfeiting at my weight class as meaning that every single eligible student at that school under 103 pounds was too scared to wrestle me.

I dont get why this is such a big deal for him to not wrestle her. That the media had to be involved. Its his choice and just leave it at that. When females make the decision on joining wrestling and they know they will be wrestling guys. Than thats at there own risk. They already know what their getting into.
