i'm a non-smoker.. the way you went about handling this situation makes you come off like a giant arsehole. If you approach someone with hostility that is how they will respond in return. maybe you should have been more polite... or minded your own business.. this happend to you because you wanted it to.
@456ojb yeah.... but i just lipped-off because he was RIGHT by the door. THEN he swore at me, so i swore back, etc. guess i should not have said anything, but the dumb prick was right by the door. he was looking for trouble, as far as i am concerned. that platform is a hellscape to me
All there is to say is a person can smoke all they want just do it away from where most people are, sidewalks facing regular businesses, all entrances to anything. Easy enough. While I disagree with prohibition, this book outlines the very serious destruction, deforestation a single cigarette does do times trillion trillions. People who smoke tobacco should really consider growing their own.
There are so many things added to the cigarettes you buy at the most reputable retail outlets like gas stations and corner stores. This book claims are more cancerous and addictive than the tobacco it self. It's brown just like dogshit. If you ever want to laugh look up Hal Sparks non-smokers, skip ahead to 5:02:P!
So you want the right to smoke absolutely disgusting-smelling weed but complain when someone smokes a cigarette outside because it "offends you"? Aren't you being a little hypocritical? I've been to concerts, bars and other enclosed INDOOR places where people were smoking weed illegally and you get on someone's ass about a cigarette?
@Elastikid a) I am not saying I should be allowed to smoke weed on the platforms. b) if someone is downwind or making an effort to avoid other people, i don't say anything. that happens pretty much every time i go there. c) he was like, right IN the doorway so i had to walk past a cloud of his stink. i mean.... i made a snide joke, but it wasn't like i ordered him to put it out or anything. I have the right to NOT be subjected to that shit. he doesn't have the right to smoke on the platform
@Elastikid as for what rights i have to smoke - that is a bit of a mess, legally because the regulations say one thing but court rulings say another, so.... i make a point of not smoking on platforms and also make a point of avoiding other people. pot stinks. you will get no argument from me. and i need to use it when i need to use it but that doesn't give me the right to make others smell it. when i smoked at the EDGE of the platform where the drivers smoke, i got harangued by a driver. bullied
