  • Mesmarising Performance given by Srinidhi which made me altime Fan to Her....!

guys n girls look at her performance..She'z a Limka Book of records Winner at the age of 4years..Now She had become a Idea Super Singer Winner..Hope She become a Famous in the Entire Nation..May god Blessing should always be there for her...

  • For those that liked this, you should listen to the version performed by Amrutha Suresh in Idea Star Singer (Kerala) as a Fusion performance. She had mixed bits of some Malayalam folk song as well. I can't seem to find the video on youtube anymore. I thought hers was the best rendition of the song on a reality show. This one is good too.

  • She did an amazing performance. It was a great attempt.

  • wow she had done fantastic job. its hard to perform this classical song.

  • Excellent voice and melodious rag!!

  • Wow Srinidhi ,U did an amazing performance

  • i cant believe this song even gained popularity..in my opinion, she's a good singer, but the choice of song is bad..

  • Good job well done especially "Sandhya

raagam" the most melodeous 'raagas of the classical music.

    SR

  • She told that as THODI ragam. Which is correct?

  • interesting , My paattu teacher said its thodi.

  • very diffrent kind of music >>>i would like to discuse it with agood musican that realy could explane the story of it>>thanx

  • Terrific and awesome performance Sreenidhi. God Bless You. You could have asked to upload video of better clarity.

  • wow i like this - Sri Nidhi i great Carnatic singer

  • Amazing hats off to Srinidhi

  • this is very well sung. But on the other hand, this does not give any evidence of a prodigious talent ( that I expected after seeing her as a 4yr old identifying raagas, uploaded by kishorepalle). A lot of youngsters are capable of singing like this. I would give her some more credit if the manodharmas ( which were not quite from out of this world anyway) are her own. But if it was really from a fusion version from a movie, perhaps the swaraas were not real manodhramaas. Good luck to her..

  • Commendable effort. Good, keep it up.

  • she is simply amazing, let the big guy sing the same at once , for get abt infront of crowds,

She has nothing to prove for ppl who cant take it..

  • can any body please give me the todi raga context please

  • She was a bit sharp and off shruthi in some places, but her gamakas are really good. Thodi is one of the hardest ragas, so rendering a krithi like Thaye Yashoda itself is a commendable accomplishment. As a student in Carnatic vocal music, I prefer that krithis be left intact and untouched by Western influences, but this happens to be my favorite fusion song anyhow. Here I am struggling with just the Era Napai varnam, and she handled krithi with swara kalpana and alapana! Great job Sreenidhi!

  • Thodi is one of my favorite raga. Srinidi is 2222222222 good. Keep it up

  • awesome voice..

  • Mr Prasanth If U are so gud please sing and upload the video we will see how gud ur are........ can u sing that great in fornt of so many people........ its not fair......to comment a little girl....

  • i swear this is a superb performance....... those judges ve been paid to comment

  • she is absolutely awesome!!!

  • Many of Tamil and Hindi songs I don't know the meaning completely but I enjoy the music the tune. May be if I know the meaning I may enjoy more. Let us give some credit to Srinidhi. Such an young girl singing so melodiously. Please do not hurt others by writing four letter words. It is easy to write cheap things but it is difficult to do what Srinidhi has done.

  • but i praised her! i think u put the comment in the wrong place by mistake...

anyway...i really love the original song and i listen to it all the time and take this opportunity to praise srinidhi once more...srinidhi...u r excellent!

  • Well, I don't know if juneg missed his placement of the comment. Your comment did have 4 words, as he mentioned. :P

Anyway, I was wondering if someone could translate what the judges had to offer after hearing this.

  • Comment removed

  • she does not need any judging, i am sure the judges sitting out there may not be able to do what she is doing, I totally agree that singers like sri nidhi should be taken away from the glamour industry they are meant to lead and provide some learning to these so called singers who choose this path

  • I think the best singer of india today is Nityasree Mahadevan. But srinidi is a rising star.I was impressed with devotional singing by Priya sisters as well as srinidi.I can sing nigama nigama with ease but i am told by a thelungu friend that it is a mix of thelungu and sanskirit.I could sing both lalita and vishnu sahasranamam. The point is i am a tamil but to me music has no language barrier and my favourite english song is Imagine by Jon lenon.Wish she sing it to carnatic instruments as well.

  • i have added few songs but her singing is a tonic to the ears and mind .unique indeed. god bless her

  • I've watched her earlier videos where she sings (Hindolam, Bindumalini), also the ones where she as a small child recognizes ragas. I truly believe she belongs to the world of classical music, not the world of glitz and show. May wisdom prevail.

  • It's a sad state of affairs that glitzy shows like Super Idol etc. have hijacked excellent classical singers and turned them into showbiz stars. The sooner youngsters like Srinidhi get out of this glamour world and go back to traditional music the better it is for them. Hope their parents, well-wishers etc have the wisdom to advise her accordingly.

  • hi prashanth, singers may do some mistakes while singing other languages, so many times I felt bad when listening the recordings of professinal singers singing telugu carnatic music... that too she is singing rite on the stage. Please don't insult her.. i'm sure she would be one of the greatest singers of india soon , like MS, sudha raghuathan, Lata, asha, Susheela, janaki, chitra, shriya ghoshal.

  • no words

  • racchhaaaaaaaaa

  • Amazing talent. God bless. Very heartening to see Carnatic music getting more recognition because of talents like you

  • Hello Prashanth, First let me thank you for taking time to post your comment. Next I'd like to remind you that this song was presented as part of Fusion Classical songs round on the show by Sree Nidhi. I could not agree with you more on your comments about Carnatic music influenced by the Western background. But I'd like for you to think about this in a different perspective. Music is divine it does not matter if it is Indian Classical or Arabic. Comment to continue...

  • Who are we to judge that one kind of music is greater over the other. And not to pretend a show-horse but will ask Srinidhi to present the subtlety of Todi Raga and will upload the video soon onto the youtube. I am sure you will enjoy watching the video.

Also, I am sure as she is native from Karnataka and brought up in Andhra, her Tamil pronunciation may not be THE BEST that you can find out there... She'd appreciate it if you could please point out the lingo errors she made in the song.

  • @kishorepalle What u wna say? Can't you make it in one sentence than to comment in installements?

  • in music where great practice and effort has been put, saraswathy shall bless it. everything else doesnt really matter. =)

  • as if tamil artists pronounce telugu properly..."manujudai buddi" for "manujudai putti"....respect the composers....

  • Mr. Prashanth. Mind your words while u give ur comments. Please dont use offending words in your comments. What do u know about Carnatic Music? You gave comments as though you are the master in carnatic music. In front of Sreenidhi, you are nothing (I cannot even compare you to her toe). The way Sreenidhi sang this song is absolutely phentastic. The swara sthana is the most difficult in this song. After listing this song from Sreenidhi, I became a big fan of her.

  • Out of the 3102 views of this video, I myself watched it 100 times till now showing it to my colleagues, family members and my neighbours. Sreenidhi, u rocked the show. May god bless you. Just ignore the comments given by Mr. Prashanth.

  • dude read the title first. She is singing a movie song. If you have anything take that up with the movie makers. She did an amazing job.

  • Hello Prasnth garu,

Noted your comments. You can be little bit more polite. Very young girl singing one of the most difficult raga. As Kishore garu said this is a fusion. I don't think we can say one language is better than another one. Music has no language barriers.

  • Mr. Prasanth, i wud like to know first whether u r a tamilian or Andhrite? r u a carnatic musician or fusion music expert? srinidhi is excellent. do u know why? i listened to her by closing eyes and dreaming the original song, thanks to srinidhi for not disappointing me at any corner. i wud like to tell u in simple words, if u r a master of any sector, "create the imperfect & destroy the perfect"

ok. all the best. before commenting, give time to ur brain to analyze it,

  • Srinidi.....really superb..perfprmence....un belivable........good work.Ur confidence is like any thing and the balance of your voice is ultimate...

  • nijanga nuvvu paadutunte ... Morning Raaga movie lo vinnatte vundamma. Simply Superb
