he is indeed quite in-tune at the min 7:10, for those of you who heard him out of tune, this is because he changed mode from Oshagh to Segah. and he actually hit the note D for a quick second which is a note past C of Mokhalef. Usually in Segah, you do not go to D , D is only used in Mokhalef but he likes to do it and truthfully I am amazed he is still capable of doing it. So No he is in tune alright, your ears are just not used to hearing that note that high. Shajarian never stops amazing me.

I would say he is still the best. I dont know of anyone who is even comparable, not even his own son.  that one second is nothing compare to all his great works.

I don't agree with that, Ustad is in GRIEF in this video, and that is because of Ustad Mushkatyan. The more he grows older, the greater he gets, this performance have left me speechless and made me cry like a baby, who can Sing like that at 69 years old???? Young singers Can't ever sing like him, there would not be another Ustad again!!

wow.i never thout i would hear him sing out of tune!for a second(7`:10'-7`:11) when he is hitting those hight notes he used to masterfully hit in his youth,he let the note slip away!!!woooow!strange!not really!see if he had let other young vocalists try their luck at singing,this would not have happened.greatness is also about knowing when to retire!

Yes, but that was really hard. His voice is now more bass than his youth time. He should have known better.
