God commands us to be followers of Him and of His word, but He never commands us to be fools --to be used and re-used by those that continue to consciously abuse us or those around us. Great video. Seeing a need is great, accepting someone is great, loving your enemy, great, after all the Bible tells us to do all that. However, while doing that we all need to remember that we are human; we are not God, and therefore we forgive and we act as humans act. So, when needed, when we forgive and love someone, we can do that from a distance. What many Christians do not realize is that forgiveness does not mean that we must totally accept the negative of what some (abusers) do. Continued
