seems like poor judgement on Flea's part to not wait for that wave to pass first and then go in because there didn't seem to be much chance of having time to get Barney on the sled when you are just in front of a 20 footer. If the ski was swamped and both of them were in the soup going into the rocks it might have been a fatal mistake. armchair quaterbacking retrospectively is a case of "easier said than done" however.
