once I got a perfect with ukyo against misuki, but i was playing at the arcade level 4, nice, if anybody know of a tournament of this game, let me know, ok folks?
Nah what see when someone disrespects another player who wins by using traditional same reg supers. are those who cry cause they can only beat people who try to combo each other and try and be flashy while doing it. the so called tornament players. whom otherwise suck against the average joel player whos got a simple yet effective technique that makes all their flashy move bs look like wasted efforts
Maaan you are insanely good. Kudos to you. Jubei is one of the weakest characters vs Mizuki cuz of his slow weak kick, you cannot use the usual way to taunt her into the air. Yet you took here two times perfect.........
I liked your video. you were playing on level 8 that is not easy at all. my boyfriend and I were playing on level 4 and it was not easy to beat her. congratulations dude.
sube mas videos conm galford o ukyooooooooooooooooooooooooooo porfisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
if you die and continue, the characters aren't as hard. beat it on LV 8 without continuing, (including beating Kuroko twice), and then you're a good player.
hmph. good is a term used not lightly in gaming. you can be 'good' in many areas: good against the computer, good against other players, good at leveling up, good at beating the game, etc.
finding a glitch is good too. using different tactics and utilizing a character's moves to their fullest is also good. is this guy good? good at using the same moves over and over again. =)
What's the problem about using the same moves ? There is no need to be flushy. The point of the game is to survive your duel and eventually kill the opponent. I think he done a great jobe expecially considering Jubei....
@sunreaper2 The problem with this gameplay is that in a real battle against an opponent, the opponent would see the pattern and be able to defeat Jubei. Being flashy, changing it up, etc. is how to be a good player. Doing the same predictable moves over and over again is like taking the same course at college over and over again. You'll keep doing well, but utterly, it's pointless.
Games like Samurai Showdown and Street Fighter 2 relies more on the timing, precision and priority of each move, even the normals. You might think it's just repeating the same moves over and over again, but what you're not seeing is how well thought out each strike is to be able to out-prioritize your opponents moves. It isn't pointless. It's a fundamental element important for games like this.
@badasscheater If you're playing against the PC. Playing against another live opponent would demand reflexes and instinct over planned attacks, aka. using moves you might not prefer but that are the best option in a certain scenario. People who play these games against the PC only and have zero arcade experience are easy to pick out.
If you're playing against a live opponent, you'll need both reflexes/instincts and planned attacks *equally.* You think a world class player like Daigo got to where he was using one over the other? No. EVERYTHING he does is methodically planned out. Every fireball that Daigo throws as Ryu in ST is perfectly timed and spaced out. The two ultimately go hand in hand, really.
@badasscheater I suppose that I became one of the best at SF and SS differently then, because I was virtually undefeated, and based my game play on instincts as they guided me, depending on what my opponent did. Everyone's different. Some people rely on what they think they know, others rely on what they do know. Whatever works. Just have a thing with people repeating moves and having no style. It's not fun to play or watch.
Who are you again in the fighting game circuit? Did you win any major national/international tournaments such as Evo/SBO? I've never heard of you. If repeating the same thing over and over again is that characters most effective strategy, then that's what the player will do. Watch any ST video of O. Sagat. You won't see him rushing people down for excitement as you will of him throwing out well timed and spaced low tiger after low tiger. Saying someone has no style is pretty scrub.
@badasscheater *eyes sparkle* Really? *chuckles and sits up* I won the SF tournament held in my country, and ranked in the top 5 in the country on SS. What country? A Caribbean country. But I'm sure to you that doesn't matter, even though the other fellow from my arcade who also ranked in the top 3 constantly went to Japan and the US to compete and WON EVERYTHING. I went to Canada and defeated the SF Champion in a major city. He was floored. Why? Because of my style. Ithankyou
I'm reading a lot of vague details with very little documentation. You're an unnamed player from an unnamed country, beat another unnamed player in an unnamed tournament. Colour me skeptical. As for your style. Top level gameplay is not about being fun to watch or play. It's using the characters top strategies in a PLANNED way. Sure, instincts (and variety to match needs) are important, but not any more so than a planned strategy. You're a scrub who doesn't seem to understand this.
@badasscheater I'm not sure why you seem to insist on tearing me down with name-calling and labels. This reminds me of that demotivational poster "Can't stop now! Someone is wrong on the Internet!" All I am saying is, I prefer to use all the aspects of a character, and not just whatever works to win. We used to look at one another at the arcade and say "pick a button" and pick Jab, and play using ONLY that. THAT'S fun. You can look at my videos. No one on Youtube has a Jago (KI2) video like mine
You don't get it, do you? Playing at TOP LEVELS means you're doing what works to win MOST. If the need arises that you need to implement a different move to match the situation, then so be it. Why do you think top level players in Super Street Fighter 2 ALWAYS use fireball traps with Ryu? Or continuous dives with Claw (Vega)? Or nonstop low Tigers with O. Sagat? Because those produce the best RESULTS. I'm all for "have fun." but on top level play, it's "win with best strat."
@badasscheater If I intended to make money off of playing video games, I'd make money playing video games. I prefer to play for the thrill of competition and the enjoyment of the recreation it provides. I however have a life and haven't been to an arcade in years as they have become obsolete. Instead I play at home for fun. Oh, and btw that champion in Canada I defeated, all he did was Sonic Boom, Sonic Boom, Sonic Kick. Why do you think he lost? Cheers to those who take their skills farther
@lalahland It's not about just throwing sonic boom after sonic boom. It's timing them and spacing them. Top level Guile players don't blindly throw sonic boom without considering where they are on the screen, where the opponent is, and what the opponent might be trying to do. For all the skill you claim to have, you haven't provided crap in the ways of strategies. That Canadian player was probably garbage if that's all he did.
@badasscheater I have watched Street Fighter Tournaments and I am not impressed. It's all about pressing 3 kick buttons together to do a special move. OOOH!!! SUCH SKILL!! NOT!! The fellow in our arcade who went to Japan and competed brought back the moves and the strategies with him. We learned from THEE best and became incredibly good in the process. Regardless, gaming style and tactics vary as much from place to place as styles and accents do, and everyone will be different. Peace out.
Damn, you're ignorant. You don't seem to understand that while people might play a character differently, there is a tried and TRUE strategy that allows a top level player to get the MOST out of a character. And yes, sometimes it WILL look like it's a repeating move over and over again. If you don't see the skill in that, like I said, you're a scrub.
Watch ANY high level Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo match on Youtube. A lot of the strategies are similar. Why? Because that's the characters strength and it's what gets him the results the fastest. You're bitching that it looks like it's boring and isn't exciting. That's a very scrub argument. And as for your friend.. sorry, but bullshit. Your continued ignorance disproves any signs of you or him competing on top level, never mind your vague statements which screams "lie."
God, you're ignorant. You call it "doing the same moves over again" Skilled players call it precision and timing. If you think it's predictable, I dare you to play someone like Daigo in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.See if you can get around their fireball traps. With moronic comments like yours, I'd be surprised if they didn't perfect you. Doing the same moves over again is like taking the best of college and applying to it to REAL use.
