call it grunge or whatever you wanna call, but definitely was a very inspirational/beautiful movement, the 90's was a great decade for music, one of my favourites.
This Tribute, i think helped alot of people in this scene. Thanks Chris you are clearly what it is all about. Making music that contiues to force people to think for themselves. We dont have to like what they tell us to like we do have musical choices. The 90's were about that. And Andy Wood was defintely about that. Keep pushing that edge...:)
WOW, I love how kids feel they have the authority to decide what WAS good music and what ISNT. This is a timeless piece of music, This was before there was a Pearl Jam. This album was one of the most phenomenal to be released in that era.
@KickinArse The album was reissued and the video was made after the formation and success of Pearl Jam, clearly to capitalize on the success of them and Soundgarden.
@Bagelbutcher Do a little research. You're way off. Record companies control that part. The bands and EV (who filled in on a vocal part Chris couldn't sing) coming together were a tribute to Andy Wood and they refused to let the record companies have any of the AW songs.
What i would have given or would give to go back in time and see TOTD live. Hey, Christ, Eddie, you guys are still kickin and rockin why not bring TOTD Concert out here? phx
Yeah Seattle is beautiful, I went to Mt. Rainier park and Seattle and landing at Sea-tac was amazing. I-5 is the most beautiful Massive highway I've been on. 0 dislikes 169 likes, that's a first.
Simpley mind blowing. Cornell and Vedder voices so different yet so complementary. Im just "wow" and the funny thing is this is like my hundreth time listening to the song
this era, Akilleez82, can be found in Portlandia. I'm moving.

SORRY.
But Chris Cornell, Vedder et al
were sellouts with this release.
SORRY. Sad, but TRUE, see?
Bagelbutcher 2 months ago
@Bagelbutcher Why? There wasn't a Pearl Jam yet and Cornell did it as a tribute for a dead friend. So why would this be selling out?
