actually good song, but the young lady did a few things that would of got her burned at the stake over the centuries: she spoke outside the kitchen and bedroom, she sang an up-beat song clearly sent by the devil, she painted her nails, wore make-up and the color black in a dress that shows cleavage, the icon/image of the cross she used as a necklace was gaudy. btw; was Jesus not worth it enough to wear a crown of thorns? I think that would of got the message out more clearly.
Crucifiction is a barbaric way to die. However, there are worse ways. Longer agonies, more painful ones. Early xtians choose it because it was considered demeaning by the Romans (the trend setters of the time) not because of its extra barbarism. But, if like you say, J. was fulfilling a prophecy, then he knew that he really wasn't going to die.
People that die of bone cancer suffer much more and for far longer and they get no resurrection.

@metaphid You don't seem to be able to grasp the enormity of Jesus' sacrifice. Why don't you understand that being killed, staying dead for three days and coming back to life to become the lord and ruler of the entire universe is a sacrifice that we should all be greatful for?
So? Is this satire? Sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is being serious, or they are just being satirical. Lets hope it's satire folks.... please!
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Not that it matters. You'll believe whatever you want to believe, regardless of evidence anyway.
What the...? More power to this chick for being passionate about something I suppose. But she should lay off the trilly ayayayayays. "je-e-e-s-uh-uh-uh-uh-s di-eye-eye-eyed for ou-wo-wo-wo-wer si-i-ins!" geez lady, you have to drag out every syllable to death?!
Vonabell, you are soooooo very beautiful. I know you've got to know this by now though, haha. :) Great video!! You did an amazing job. It came out perfect! <3
Of course! I put it on Facebook, Gaia, and my DeviantART. I'm trying to think about whether I'm active on any other sites or not. Hahahaaaa, I knew it was coming but it still amused me to see her. She had to have fun with that. YAAAAY!!! Now I can listen to it on the bus. :D and give it to my friends who don't have internet. Lol, you've turned me into some kind of market for your stuff Von. xD
Thank you so much! <3 I truly appreciate it! ... Haha, I know, it is funny about my mom! <3 ..... AAAaaawww Thank you! That would be such a help! ... Please do! Have fun downloading! :D
Beautiful video Vonabell. Lovely singing as always. That cross was absolutely beautiful (the one you carried). Seems like a really fun time making the video. I laughed when I saw your mom. And the ending was awesome. Wasn't expecting that. But I absolutely love the song. It should've been the original version of the song. THIS is the one that should be played on radios. Am definitely posting this on my websites. Mind if I download it to my mp3?
1:16 I was throwing dice in the alleyway and officer Leroy comes up and says 'Hey I thought I told you kids' and I was like 'Yeah whatever!'

@cpmondello Somewhat true - but not from being inherently part-and-parcel of the "Bible" or "Christianity."

@bhickman6 I think she means it as a "parody" for legal purposes. In this case, religious parody.

I gave up my lunch today, to convince myself not to hate all of you so much. So you all owe me.

One last thing: why is the original demeaning?

Matthew 26:39 - Jesus totally complained.

Is this serious or is this satire? I genuinely can't figure it out! I hope it's satire!
oldeubank 3 weeks ago 3
Well, you did indeed create a parody, but that word doesn't mean what you think it does apparently.
In internet lingo: Not sure if hilarious parody or crappy serious song by someone who doesn't understand english.
par-o-dy: n. An imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for **comic** effect.

Actually, Jesus did complain:
Mark 15:34 King James Version (KJV)
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"
Not that it matters. You'll believe whatever you want to believe, regardless of evidence anyway.

For what crime were you convicted?
And, I can't figure out whether this video is a mock-out of Christianity or some strange Christian thingie.
I'll admit that the high heels are nice touch, but the Larry-Moe-and-Curly haircut on the preacher is even better.
But, nothing says I'm a follower of Christ than a diamond studded, silver cross.
The self-satire in this video is wonderful.
