I would have gone to the doctors more and made them try to figure out what's wrong. She obviously has some serious problem, and it's likely part, if not all, of the reason she lost the first baby.

in really is not that easy sadly, no matter how medically advanced we are now a days sometimes getting a diagnosis is really hard.

i have gone to many doctors, and none have any idea what is going on with me...so far almost 3 years of waiting, as new symptoms appear every few months.

in a perfect world....all the doctors would be like house.

my brother is a doctor. Most diseases have similar symptoms. My brother's outstanding talent is diagnosis. While doctors are generally very smart diagnosis in difficult cases seems to be a talent you either have or don't (they make be excellent at other things e.g surgery). Dont stop trying diff docs. A key is if u see pple like my bro he asks INCREDIBLE number of questions that seem to have little to do w what your problem is - not blinding ticking off symptoms lists vs the manual
