  • Love Leroy Troy... Like he says, I've seen enough to know the Bible is true!

  • It shouldn't matter 'what your dad said' ...

  • I am a fan of Leroy's, but my father says he can't sing and he might be a little retarded. I don't think so.

  • @vcp430 i think he is kinda retarded but he can sing

  • @SuperGolaSSJ2 I mean, my dad says he has no talent and doesn't even think he should be on The Marty Stuart Show. He's the same way about Speck Rhodes on the Porter Wagoner Show. But, I will admit Speck was not funny at all.

  • Lovely. It makes me want to play the banjo even more.

  • Just went to Cumberland Caverns where he and his band played. Got their tshirt and had every band member sign it (:

  • He ain't joking. It's the truth. And I don't care how dumb you think I am to think this. Amen Leroy Troy

  • Ironically, he do look somewhat like a monkey.

  • LOL

  • Yeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaw

  • This satirical... right...... right?! It's a joke, right?

  • If you ever met Leroy you'd know.... Yes, he must be joking. Right?

  • @arloj No sir, arloj, it's not satire or a joke. It's a modern rendition of a song written by a man born in the 19th century and sung in the early 20th. It represents the beliefs of many Americans at the time, including William Jennings Bryan, and is a valid representation of the debate going on at the time. I think Uncle Dave and his audience were entitled to their opinion; I'm hoping Clarence Darrow would have defended their right to free speech as quickly and well as he defended Scopes.

  • " So GOD created man in his own image, in the image of GOD created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27. and how true those words are, friends. Glory be to Jehovah

  • Yeah, praise to Jehovah. I think it's wonderful how he managed to give us many ERVs which are located in exactly the same position on our genome as on the chimpanzee genome. watch?v=TUxLR9hdorI

  • you might enjoy a study with one of JEHOVAHS witnesses. " Seek ye me, and ye shall live" Amos 5:4.

  • hearavoice, why do you say that?

  • Because OpenHuman, I love you. More importantly God Loves you, and GOD desires that we obtain knowledge of him, A study of the BIble will help you to do that.

  • Thanks hearavoice. I appreciate the sentiments, but what is it you think Jehovah's Witnesses in particular can teach me about the bible as opposed to other groups?

  • well, your welcome, I meant every word. there are lots of misunderstandings of the Bible in Christianity, for instance most Christian organizations will teach that God Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one or a trinity. also Gods Purpose for mankind. The church I went to before becoming a witness taught that when you die you go to heaven. true some do, but not all people do. but the Bible in fact talks about a Ressurection of all people. to live in a paradise earth. they can offer you truth!

  • Which people get to go to heaven according to what you believe now? I'm a little wary of groups that offer a "truth" that no one else has, as there lots of groups doing it - they all believe only they have it right.

  • I understand just what your saying, there are alot of people who claim to know the truth. In regards to going to Heaven lets see what Jesus said, "But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared" Mark 10:40. In verse 35 of the book of Mark ch.10, it shows also that people who give their whole lives to God, just as Jesus did, will be the ones to go to heaven. but for all others we have the prospect of life on earth.

  • thank your for reading those scriptures. James and John ask to be with Jesus in heaven, he then goes on to ask them " if they can drink from the cup that he drinks from?" later at the Lords supper Jesus took a cup of wine and passed it around and declared " this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many" mark 14: 24. this cup was a metaphor for death see also mark 14:36, please. The notion is, you have submit your life fully to God to have a heavenly position.

  • also OpenHuman, in Mathew ch5 verse 5Jesus says " blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." Also psalm 37:29 says " The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever." I hope that clears up what I said about living on the earth again. The ressurection is a Bible based truth. that is what is going to happen. and when I sit and think about it, I find that were already here now, so is it far fetched to think well be here again? No. its true we well live on earth again.

  • is this the paradise earth?

  • That is a good question, CorvZr1. No, our earth has not been restored to a paradise yet. In the Bible book of Genesis Ch 1. verse 28 we see God s purpose for humans on the earth, to " Be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." So, man was supposed to "subdue" the earth and be a care taker of the earth ( see also Genesis ch 2 verse 5) but sin messed that all up.

  • God asked only one thing from adam and eve that they " must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day you eat from it you will surlely die" Genesis chapter 2 verse 17. Well they did eat from it and then became sinners for disobeying God, and through sin comes death, (Romans 6:23) But through faith in the ransom sacrafice of Jesus Christs perfect human life we can be given a ressurection to life here on earth and live how we were supposed to live in paradise.

  • man wrote the bible, just the same as christ would tell you-- you are 98% chimpanzee and 95 % orangutang. A glorified monkey. Go take a long look in the mirror, then smile and grab a banana

  • your math is shaky at best...

  • LOL so is his spelling

  • Absolutely amazing, He is Uncle Dave

just an amazing performer and musician

  • Wonder which produced more humorous songs - the theory of evolution itself or the dogmatism that opposed it. However, both kinds of songs are fun to listen to.

  • sorry leroy, you're a primate

  • Brilliant, as usual! That would appear to be a George Washburn banjo. Right? I`ve got one almost identical to it, serial #3332.

  • This gentleman puts on one of the best live

performances one could ever hope to see. I

laughed harder than I ever have during both

the live concerts I've attended. Leroy's

pickin' and singin' sent me way out there.

  • Troy is one of a kind! One of my oldest friends and one of the few people I've ever met who is truly genuine! J

  • Leroy is awesome. If you get a chance come to the Museum of Appalachia in Norris Tennessee in October and check him out. The Bible is TRUTH.

  • this is great..I had a good time seeing him at the Carter Fold in Virginia..he is a great in everyway...need to see one of his life shows

  • Thanx f0r posting

  • good song, leroy's got a good personality too.
