  • why do I cry everytime at the end of this movie

  • Gotta love Jack Nicholson!

  • This is one of my all time favourite films but if that was the trailer for that movie today Id laugh.

  • This is my favourite film ever.

  • I'm in the same boat

  • i think 2 hours of this will be better than reading 128 pages by tomorrow

  • One of the greatest movies ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where's chief? he's like one of the most important characters and they only show him for about two seconds.

  • Hm, not exactly the same McMurphy in the book, but close enough. haven't seen the movie, but just finished the book for AP Language in school. A tragic story indeed.

I sure do hate Nurse Ratched, though...

  • very good movie

  • this music...

  • Just finished part one and it's not bad. Hell of a lot better than the Pearl or the Great Gatsby

  • @kx4u5 aww, I loved the Great Gatsby :( But a do agree with the Pearl. Terrible. Atrocious. Just plain awful...

  • @aoitori101 yeah I know the great gatsby required a certain taste for a love tragedy that I wasn't really in to. But yeah The Pearl sucked lol

  • metallica-sanitarium

  • the movie looks good but reading the book is hell

  • McMurphy doesn't have red hair in the movie?! This is severely disappointing.

  • @drepop803 im sorry, but this movie is amazing. idk if ur one of those people that's usually "hey where's the kool action and fight scenes!?" but this movie was suppose to show deep meaning within individuality, power, and fear among us. If it's too hard for you to comprehend that then im sorry u missed out on an awesome movie.

  • Danny DeVito and Christopher Lloyd. Very good.

  • this movie was pretty bad.

  • great movie.

  • what do drunk mosquitoes sound like? this

  • I love this movie. I even wrote a review of it for my school newspaper.

  • I watch this movie in high school it was so sad

  • Oh my god. I can't wait to watch the movie after reading this!

    Oh my god oaihfiaoshfoiashfs

  • NOOO!!! My heart was teared Apart!

  • "They're out there" (anybody get the book reference?)

  • @XxMistyChaserXx Got your book ref. Excellent.

    ONE FLEW EAST

    ONE FLEW WEST

  • This movie is one of the great flews over the cuckoo's nest! Unforgetable and impressive.

  • welcome home pappy jack!

  • In the beginning I laughed really hard, I couldn't breathe. I the end I cried even harder, until I couldn't see. There is so much heart in this movie.

  • o the laugh from fight club

  • im reading the book atm. going to watch the movie on netflix sumtime next week. great book tho so far

  • I love this movie so much. It's one of my favourites.

Jack was so sexy back then. ♥

  • The book was great until it fell into farce. The movie is an attempt to shore up the book. So it goes.

  • The best movie ever, it opened my eyes, and Jack Nickolson's an amazing actor,

  • what is the song?

  • @kisskissh lmao

  • I flew over the cuckoos nest

  • why are people marking comments as spam when the comments just say that its a good movie whats going onnn

  • He sounds like Johnny Knoxville lol

  • The Expendables my ass this movie had the best cast of all time

  • Old or young Jack Nicholson always has this weird devilish air to him.

  • He reminds me of Charlie Sheen in this trailer

  • @lenainsuburbia he reminds me of Mel Gibson by his look

  • had to read the book for grade 11 english

  • reading it now

  • @marchael01

    hallo i have a question.

is the book the same as the movie?

  • i can see the indian from poltergeist 2 :-p

  • jack nicholson was hot!! oh my god. age is fuckin cruel..

  • They did not know how to make trailers back in the day

  • @sil2k8 Only young ignoramous's would think that "they did not know how to make trailers back in the day." Todays trailers are so full of two second CGI shit that you don't even know wtf the film is about. Maybe it's because most flicks nowadys are so lame they only need a lame trailers.

  • @pinkfreud62 Are you half retarded? A trailer is supposed to let you some sort of insight on what the plot is about! It is also supposed to at least sell you the "amazing" performances that are in the movie. This trailer would make people decide to not watch it. Sell the movie[!], that is what a trailer is supposed to do.

  • @sil2k8 I know it's like putting someone love song with a rap song

  • @sil2k8 i think for the time it was made in it was pretty good

  • @sil2k8 right, let's fade everything into black, have a comedy pause and jittery action. c'mon, this one is awesome as it is.

  • @sil2k8 I think people are liking this because they simply dont see the 'not' in the comment.

  • @DasGpunkt Actually no, this trailer sucks. I just asked my sister to watch the movie because the book was good and she made me show her the trailer and I told her she wouldn't like it, and it was true.

  • @vabeach94 Okay, i dont understand why this is a valid argument but i respect ur and ur sisters opinion.

Let me tell u why i like the Trailer: It is slow paced, giving just the right amount of information to get an idea of the movie without spoiling anything. there is no narrator telling u what the movie is about or expressing his opinion about how awesome this movie is and so on. And hey! my sister likes it, too. So its good!

  • @sil2k8 WRONG. They do not know how to make trailers today. Trailers today=synopsis in 2-3 minutes

  • @saknarkillerkinky aww you must be a fan of the oldies. bad acting and all. lol.

  • nurse ratchet sucks, mcmurphy rocks

  • Classic film

  • Great film

  • @The33Fumbles fair enough

  • I love this movie but the book is so much better. No drug influence in the movie like there is in the book!

  • he looks like johnny knoxville

  • @The33Fumbles You mean Johnny Knoxville looks like Jack Nicholson.....wait a minute. No he doesn't!

  • @MrSratticusFinch well thats your opinion

  • @The33Fumbles johnny knoxville looks like him is actually what you meant

  • R.I.P. Bibbit.

  • jack nicolsan reminds me off jhonny knocksville

  • 1:11 One of my favorite lines in the film.

  • That song at the end is sooo creepy

  • 5 people dislike...Nurse Ratched and her ward attendants.

  • great film. wouldnt say its the best ever, but i would say its the best performance of the greatest actor who ever lived.

  • Jack Nicholson is one of the best actors of all time! =D

  • the trailer undersells the movie big time.

  • i reckon cook from skins could play this role perfectly

  • @TheCheweeRevolutions Oh yeah! I definitely think he could too! =D

  • Did you know that the writer of the original novel drew his inspiration from working nightshifts in a mental institution, sometimes under the influence of psychedelic drugs?

  • WTF. did Nurse Ratchet make 3 accounts and disliked this??

  • @herobolt lmaoooo that's so funny!<3

  • Jack,my brother,love ya Jack !

  • This is my favorite book, and my favorite movie. <3

  • I love Jack Nicholson.

  • 1:46 Christopher Lloyd <3 so young and so cute :)

  • wtf..this movie made me tiars and i am fucking 25 years old!

  • @antifagiorgos If you're 'fucking 25 years old' you should know how to spell 'tears' pal.

  • @40flox and why is that??

  • @antifagiorgos ohhh i don't know, maybe its just something you'd pick up after being taught how to spell for saay... 20 years?

  • One of the greatest works of art of the last century.

  • I Am Jack's Smirking Revenge!

  • what " ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST " really means ?

  • @dixieserb its from a nursery rhyme. if you read the book it says at the very beginning "one flew east, one flew west and one flew over the cuckoo's nest" and Chief Bromden's grandma used to sing this to him

  • It's kinda of the boy version of Girl Interrupted.

  • @Chikca15 well, it's more like Girl, Interrupted is a girl version of this. i love Girl, Interrupted but this is a thousand times better and was filmed sooner.

  • Jack Nicholson is a fucking god xD

  • he sounds like johnny knoxville

  • I loved it! AMAZING cast and script and everything. Even the music on the background :P

  • This movie is just amazing, it won 5 oscars !!! The actors play perfectly !!

  • I love this movie, one of the best ever, i think cinema in 70 was better than now, there are now some good movies, but you can find many good movies in the 70, avatar etc are worst by far, i think the reason is in the 70 they wanted to make good movies, now they want to make money

  • " A beautiful personality is locked away behind humor its a sad tragedy that only a few are able to unlock it "

  • great book, great movie, great jack! one of the best!!

  • Reading the book in english. I wanna see the movie so bad!!

  • im new to jack nicholson as an actor but does he always play a mentally insane person in all of his movies. Ive only seen him in the shining

  • I cried so hard at the end of the movie

  • Call me an idiot, but let me voice my opinion

I love this movie, just saw it today, but honest to god I think it would have been better if Chief was the main character.

Still a great movie. Never forget it.

  • I love this movie.

  • Ufff... Espectacular esta cinta... Es Perfecta

  • Best movie I've ever seen

  • one of the all time greats

  • the music is great. it sends shivers down my spine.. this movie made me cry and laugh.. awesome movie :)

  • a great film, but the book is infinitely better

words cannot describe the feelings this powerful book (and to a lesser extent the film) conjures up

  • did any1 read the book?? i have an essay due 2marro comparing the book and the movie and i only read the first few chapters...

  • here's a crazy idea, READ THE F*CKING BOOK!

  • how original is this film...there aint a single film out there with a story line or cast of quality actors like it

    absolutly brilliant

  • It's among the best movie I've ever seen. Not only was Nicholson brilliant, but pretty much all actors across the board were outstanding.

This movie was way way ahead of its time and peers.

  • my faveourite film ever !!!!!:D:D love it !!!!!! sooo much

  • my mom knew the guy that played the big indian. she said he was really nice but couldn't act.

  • Remember coming out of the CInema after seeing it and feeling sick to my stomach - so sad, brutal and in the deepest darkest moments of insanity always the glimmer of humour - amazing film.

  • its such a good movie!

  • love this movie....

  • wow jack's voice has really changed since then
