i've skated with him as well, hes crazy, but the reason he didn't play in the NHL was because he started out as a figure skater

he is the best skater he idnt make the NHL because he was to small and he lives in pitsburgh pensilvania and skates the pitsburgh penguins i skate with him when he comes down to my area in toronto

i remember when i skated with him...he used a lefty stick. Fucking great skater. He is Georgian. in this video. he is around 37 or 38. He did this drill with a member of the penguins (someone russian) were besa skated backwards down the length of the ice and the other player skated forward. the guy couldnt catch besa.

actually he was the coditioning coach for pitt and wilkes barre penguins. I think he was also a russian figure skating champion
