Ughh, I was there when it was happening.

well, i was in a diff city. but it was a huge storm..i was only 13 when it happend.

there was a lightning strike that hit the ground..it was red. O_O

Yep, lightning color is determined by the static i believe, normal storms produce the sorta white/blue/yellow color, but lightning can come in red,blue,green,pink,and a few other colors.

A green sky doesnt necisarily (sp) mean a tornado is coming...its just the color of sunlight reflecting off of the rain and hail in a storm =]

you know its a horrible supercell if the sky changes colors. It is an unknown phenomenon when that happens, the hail will change the sky blue or green, abut there is more to it, for some reason it only happens when the storm rotates it seems. I still want this answered in my lifedime....

That looks a lot like a rain wrapped tornado with wall cloud sloped away from it, but I can't really tell, it doesn't look around enough.

It's actually at the front of the storm with a strong rain/hail shaft moving in. The sloping is the back of the shelf cloud, also causung the wierd lighting.
