  • What's in your pocket?

  • @korranis1 things

  • I am soon joining them on Facebook.lol

  • @xxgreggorywayne

if you look at wing chun closer it helps you a lot in everyday life

take a look at its philosophy and think!

and yes it's true - in a fight you will never do chi sao

but what's behind chi sao is to learn and feel what your opponent is doing next as you feel the direction of his force

later on you learn a lot of techniques just to come in contact with your opponent

if you are good the opponent from this time on is yours

But a wing chun fighter without contact is lost

  • @jspehntrep14

his weight is not your cup of tea

i advise you to respect him as wing chun masters - no matter if they are over weighed or not - will kick your ass badly

  • i swear i'll chop my own head off, if i hear another reference to facebook.

Can i see a video, freestyle fighter against wing chun please.

  • @LS10RDX join us at facebook

  • @hgamer yeah facebook is nice ;)

  • very good. don't disengage! This is what "sticking" is all about.

  • look xxgreggorywayne whatever! i'll respect this guy when he loses freakin 50 ilbs or more. i bet you always say that to all wing chun videos you see about guys being good. your such a gullable fool! everyone practically knows these repetitious techniques; however, not from a fat man couch potatoe who probably has never even used the art in real life. all showboats! nothing real! get it??

  • @jsphentrep14 - if you were any kind of martial artist you'd have learned about respect. Wing Chun is an art form, and most people will never apply it in their lives. It gives you the essential skills to survive a fight if you need it. Most importantly though it is an art. Nobody does chi sao in a fight, and every wing chun person know that. Who are you to comment on a persons figure? Thats none of your busines. This guy is good at wing chun and has a lot of knowledge. You should respect him.

  • look stickybeatz, first, any real instructor should be in shape and not a couch potato and be an example of a martial artist. second, what the fuck does Force = Mass x Acceleration and sil lum tao have to do with being in shape and an example of health and fitness? You cannot take a fat ass and think he will be an effective force okay. all i'm suggesting is this guy loses some weight ASAP because all that fatness or overweightness will hinder you in training or in a fight. get it?

  • @jsphentrep14 Trollll Power!!

  • @jsphentrep14 the funny thing is the fact that many of those out-of-shape "couch potatos" like him are still able to kick the ass of guys like you in less time than you can say "Hurra!"...

stop acting like a pretty highschool quarterback...learn some respect!

  • no seriously, fatness or obesity or overweightness is obviously a health issue. get on a deadly diet for a bit and come back to make more videos. cool?

  • I'm sorry, chi sao is not fighting....

  • @MrFigthclub you are correct

  • @MrFigthclub Yes but it is used in the fight even if it can't be seen.

  • i see your point, but what truly annoys me is your fatness. in my opinion, instructors should be an example of health and fitness. it is really disappointing to most people when there is an instructor who is teaching wing chun and is obviously apathetic to being in shape. please lose a lot of wait!! you will thank me! if i don't tell you, no one might will. get on a deadly diet! do it man!!

  • @jsphentrep14 While what you're saying may be true, it's unnecessary. At least 60% of the instructors where I learn at the IWCA youtube.com/user/wingchunaustralia are not of average weight. Yet, they somehow manage to be healthy and incredible fit. Since you're commenting about an instructor's diet and fitness levels you must obviously know a lot about wing chun. It's funny though because I could have sworn that Force = Mass x Acceleration. Practice sil lum tao, you might learn.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=JlNlrjmaCps

can you give me some tip about this front kick

  • @0311huy link doesn't work

  • @hgamer sorry

  • @0311huy anderson silva vs vitor belfort

  • yes but spar for what? they fight and bam bam do some wide hook punch

  • in real fight like this

    youtube.com/watch?v=xeq_Y94wa1U&feature=player_embedded

well i dont see center line or concept and theory in wc

    just muscle

what do you think about this fight

  • @0311huy that's not fighting, that's just sparring

  • can i ask you a question

about wsl wing chun and wc vs mma shawn obasi and apply wc in real world

because i train vietnamese wc (you should check out)

and dont see wing chun concept in real fight

  • @0311huy whats the question?

  • thanks so much.

i'm starting off as a wing chun punching-throwing noob, thanks for all the help and setting me straight, hope i can actually find someone to help spar with.

    thanks again, keep posting!

    ... do i bow now? /bow(:

  • @haydentheonlyhayden dont' worry so much about sparring, develop the skill first to spar, not just spar

  • haha, i was just to say the same annotations a little longer please. Thank you for your great videos, they're really helping me in learning Wing Chun. Greetings and happy new year from Argentina.

    Gabriel

  • @elkolodj1 next video.. annotations will be longer.... happy holidays

  • lol, your guys are fun! I should have came down and visited you guys when I was in Chicago a few months back. Great vid and happy new year (in advance)!

  • @mywingchunsucks i'm not sure about fun.... most students usually say all i do is bitch

  • @hgamer thankfully you keep all the bitching out of your videos, for the most part :-)...have a good new year.

  • @mywingchunsucks no more bitching in 2012

  • before i forget to leave a comment...is there any way you can make your annotations last a bit longer while they're up on screen? Just a second or two longer? Yes, I know I can pause, rewind and all that but it's better to be able to watch and absorb as much as possible through the first viewing without constantly stopping & backing the video up. Just asking. Videos are good otherwise.

  • @constablekohler i've had request for that before... i'll make them a pinch longer...

  • Search for windy city wing chun on Facebook.

  • is there another way to read your articles without a facebook account?

  • @YoungCrs let me see if there will be... i'm already updating so many sites already....

  • @hgamer for shizzle, no rush

when ever you do, can you post a link in the description box of your most recent video?

  • @YoungCrs just click our channel it has playlist and everything

  • Comment removed

  • I guess you mean dont disengage but continue the flow? while feeling their center

  • @Ninjastuntz u could say it like that

  • Sidenote: I've said this multiple times, but I DO plan on showing up for classes lol. I live in Hyde park now and the only thing restricting me from being there now is money. Soon though...soon

  • I found it. Also, I am a fan of the new slogan lol.

  • @sgtweenus it was either that or.... your soul is mine

  • You guys are great. Awesome stuff.

  • @008sango i'll take the awesome... i don't' know about the great...lol

  • Can you post a video about defense against grabing and to be pulled from a wing chun guys point of view?
