Well for one thing, they went headstrong for like 6 years (15-21), and it was time to call it quits. I think they were wearing on each other. I mean they weren't even teens anymore. Second, they all kind of wanted to produce solo careers. The world grew up, and they did too. the pop era is over, not dead, but over for now.
