I also remember another problem caption for bbc2 which was shown during CBBC programmes. It had a different background, which I think may be based on the neon ident.

I do actually have a video which has this fault caption on straight after the powder ident. It was show during school programmes. The thing is, the ident played as normal, then a problem slide the same as this appeared with an announcement. It was completly silent, and then after another announcement, the music played, and then the program appeared.

Tracked down Murray Munro's "Against The Clock" and it's not the version used by the BBC. They must use a different variation of the music

not really. I think they have pages from ceefax on bbc 2 on occasions but it is only when they run out of programming at 2 AM. usually BBC1 joins bbc news channel, and bbc 2 shows news or weather

i agree sadly it looks like its not shown anymore as a small breakdown a few weeks ago showed that they only play the kites music now but u never know they chose the track every breakdown it wasnt used everytime there was a breakdown between the 1991-2006 era that it was heard.What we need is a big breakdown so that all the tracks are heard

Is it only bbc music in there library?why dose it have a name if it is ?i dont think it is used anymore because in a minor breakdown about 2 months ago they just played the music which accompanies the kites ident

The BBC breakdown music is far better than on ITV. Perhaps they should play this over Eastenders- I'd watch it then!
