Hi there i have tried to send a video response with my mbuna set up but unsure if you got it. This is my first set up & been up and running just over 6 weeks & all is good. I have x16 mbunas and x1 sydontis cuckoo cat fish. You have a Cherax in there with (young) at the end. How big do these grow? & what else can i put in like this?. Please reply as i would love something like this in my tank.. Great video & set up btw..all the best..

hey nicely set up.

i hav a 90 gallon tank, n it accomodates 1 tiger oscar, 1 albino tiger oscar, 1 firemouth, 1 red devil, a pair of green terror and a pair of jewel cichlids. i need suggestions n advices from guys like u to make my tank a better place to live for my fishes.

Thought you/anybody can help me out. I have Kenyi Juvies about 2.0"~2.25", dominent male is golden yellow, other males are brownish yellow and my females were all blue with black stripes. I've notice that some of the females stripes are fading in this batch.Does anyone know what's happening? I notice that the females that had breed turns brownish blue and the one who never had breed keeps blue coloring(but fades as they get larger.

if you keep a cave at the bottom of the tank a crayfish won't pose a problem, that said mine likes to hunt at night so new fish do sometimes get nipped. keep the temp at 24-26deg C and he won't grow too fast and the fish should be okay. thats my experience of it anyway, hope it helps

I think you may be refering to a KENYI. Now I didn't see one in this video, but I have a female, and it was a mistake. This fish is an absolute TERROR to my other fish.

and I believe that the "lobster" is technically a crawfish. There are no fresh water lobsters.

But they're beautiful and fascinating nevertheless.

I keep a blue lobster (like the one here) with my malawis. I wouldn't call him friendly, but I've found that the malawis are too quick for him (and possibly too aggressive as well), even the small ones. Be careful to put in some smaller catfish or other bottom dwellers though. He managed to kill a large pleco in his previous tank.

I have had malawi cichlids for about 7 years. This is a very nice setup, good job. Also my fish kept breeding and I had about 45 fish in a 55 gallon tank with no problem.

Overstocking is the the best way to keep aggression spread out with cichlids, as long as you have the right filtration, so his tank is just fine. How aggressive are your Labeotropheus Trewavasae? I am thinking about getting a few for my tank. BTW, what is the name of that song? It sounds like it was made to be added to videos.

You rarely see Labs and Salousi in the same tank anymore, mainly because of the high risk of crossbreeding, but hey if it's workin for yah then awesome! The tank looks good, I'm keeping Ps. Demasoni on some Labs.

Yes, 3 years ago they were easy to get, but it seems like most fish dealers don't sell them anymore, because no one wants to buy them. And the one you see here is jut a baby...i'll post a video of my adult male redclaw soon.
