@miamimann1 I have to disagree. CRY was not on the original 1985 NBC broadcast. I videotaped this episode back in the day on old VHS (yeah I'm that old) and watched it over and over again and this score (or almost identical version) is accompanying Crockett when he and and Tubbs are watching the Clemente black limo drive by and later when he's driving out to the sand dunes to face off against the Ted Nugent character, and when he appears on the beach to watch Callie get arrested.
This was the original incidental music in key scenes when the "Definitely Miami" episode first aired on NBC yet everyone associates Godley and Creme's "Cry" to the episode. "Cry" was not on the original airing of this episode but replaced it in TV syndication; not sure why. But the guitar riffs sound similar in both "Cry" and this Jan Hammer score.
Does anyone knows the instrumental song (not the Peter Gabriel's song) playing -probably twice - through the "Forgive Us Our Debts" episode. It's rather slow and it has a distorted guitar in it. I need to know this really badly. Thanks.
"Remember me?" I have watched this scene just to hear this amazing music. I don't know how you did it but to hear it by itself is amazingly beautiful. How can I burn this so I can play it in my car? Excellant job
The song CRY was used in the end of the episode....this track was used plus the Rick Leon track was used through out the episode.
