Just wanted to let everyone know that at this moment there are 287,618 vintage shirts on eBay of which 23,755 are on auction. If everyone in the city of Chicago (2,896,016 population) was to buy a vintage shirt on eBay today there would only be enough for 10% of the people.....WOW!!! Now try doing the math for the coverage eBay has just in the USA?... just saying. .... makes you think doesn't it?
@globalvoodoo I sell a lot of vintage stuff overseas also. I love it whey have 50% off. They included the furniture the other day and I bought a whole box truck full.
If you are looking into selling Vintage clothing, 25% of my sales go International don't forget if you list an item to make sure it is being seen across the world. When making an International sale always include some type of tracking as proof of delivery. If not some buyers will take advantage of you.
@globalvoodo I do a lot of international sales and now that I can print first class international postage through eBay I have been selling more. You might even consider using foreign words in your title if you dell more to one country.
What do you do for tracking international packages?
yeah the international market is a big market for us especially with Vintage Tees'. Now the tricky part of International shipping is the post office is the only cheap option and USPS First Class International doesn't include tracking. I pay the extra fee to have it registered and that will provide me with a tracking # just in case the item never arrives. If anyone nows a cheaper way to ship Internationally I would love to hear how I can save money.
