I've just been in Urumqi two weeks ago. A big modern city with all the skyscrapers in the city. Lots people are relaxing in the city park during the weekday evenings. You can hardly move in the local night market because it is crowded with people.
Uyghur children are absolutely adorable!

hahahaha, so that is the chinese version of CNN. She did not say the fact that Uyghurs were not allowed to go on the streets during that time.
