  • i love wearing fascinator's and i dress classy and alot of american's dont know how to dress and i have had to give few people i know some advice just saying and i am british american

  • Barbie - you've got some of this wrong. You have some of the wrong photographs of Beatrice & Eugenie ( and yes, they did look ridiculous!). The lady you say is an American actress is not - she's Tara Palmer Tompkinson, a friend of Prince Charles.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah some of those hats do look stupid LOL

  • those hats are fashion statements. they aren't "ridiculous" they are art.

  • I agree... I was laughing when I watched the wedding live! Most of the hats were laughable! lol

  • The hats were a metaphor for the enties that reside inside their chakra system.

  • ok, some are ridious, but just face it: you don´t have enough money to buy a single one of those... sooo... keep ur opinion to urself

  • What a terrible accent!! Sorry this person obviously has the brain capacity of a knat. Who cares what the US think about anything let alone fashion looking at the US programmes we get in UK they have no sense full stop

  • I think this girl who spoke in You Tube is all bull shit. I'm living in US, and I love all this hats. I do feel you don't know much about fashion. =(

  • Goes to show how ridicules all fashions are that are anything except practical or hot.

  • Beautiful

  • Um..... not everyone in England walks around wearing stupid hats... keep your opinion to yourself next time...

  • The truth is I am an American and I don't think we have any style. Farm pants and tee shirts. Oh that's saying a lot. I am an artist and I Love their style. The have not lost their culture at all. These headdress date way back to the 1700's and are beautiful.

  • @StefcentrikArt When Americans dress we look classy. When the English dress, they look like they are in costume.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll please show me American class. Sandals and a skirt does not count that is picnic ware. Cocktail dresses two sizes too small don't count either. I was having a conversation not to long ago and the question came up what is American culture. At least the English/British/every other country has one. Just thoughts nothing personal!

  • @StefcentrikArt The truth is that most Europeans (not all) lack a definitive culture. The same for Americans, with three exceptions. I cannot STAND the way the British dress, they look clownish and cartoonish most of the time...it is like looking into a comic book when they ''dress'. The BEST dressed Europeans are the Italians...other than that, they can keep their ''fashion'.

  • @StefcentrikArt Hey retard the civilians are the same as the U.S civilians but when it comes to rich people they have fashionable clothes you dumb shit.

  • @yeeeeeehaaaaaa2011 There is nothing fascinating about them. They look stupid.

  • cause nobody gives a shit about them... they wear those stupid hats so they can look even more stupid. That is not fashion! That is ridiculus at it's top!

  • @didiodette1 They do indeed look like clowns!

  • does the brain of a woman only looks at cloths ???!!!

  • Right: The cluster of butterflies perching on Princess Bea's head was worn at Royal Ascot a few years ago - yes, ridiculous!

The lady you think might be an American actress is in fact an English socialite named Tara Palmer Tomkinson and I quite liked her outfit.

The strange pretzel hat worn by Beatrice has now been auctioned on e-bay for £81,000, she said she had fun wearing it and I think she's been a good sport. The money is going to one of the charities she supports.

  • I do not think you know much about fashion. Yes some of the outfits were over the top but what is wrong with that. The royals have to distingiush themselves from the public somehow. The truth is that the royals mostly wear expensive designer labels the people who design these outfits know more about fashion than most people do so do not act like you know what you are talking about when you are judging them

  • @PansyPopsify I can not say that I totally agree with your comment. I think that HRH Princess Michael of Kent at the wedding of Prince William and HRH Kate looked beautiful. Her hat was devine, her outfit was simply beautiful for the occasion. Lady Davina, (I believe that is her name) Princess Michael's daughter in law (seen on 0:02) looked amazing. Beautiful hat. I could tell just looking at them, what they were wearing was expensive. Princess Bea and Eugenie, OMG. I think they're poor.

  • I'm sorry but this soo funny: an American from US giving lessons on how to dress to an English....please!!! I live in London and for what I see English have a good style.....and I can say that loud cos I'm Italian, WE 'invented' fashion....you know...

  • @dioioego Just because we are Americans, and proud of it may I add; does not mean we do not have great taste in fashion. We all know what we like and dislike. Queen Elizabeth look like she was going to Sunday morning service, and not to a wedding. Princess Eugenie, Princess Anne, and Princess Beatrice all look ridiculous. HRH Princess Michael of Kent look charming by far. Why anybody in Europe thinks that Victoria Beckham is a well dress woman is beyond me. She looks horrible everytime.

  • @dioioego

Can't believe this awful woman from the US with her ridiculous accent ( which frankly sounds like a Barbie doll !!) is telling everyone her opinions on fashion! I don't think the Americans have style in general so who is she to comment...?

  • all wrong you fucking reards

  • The designer of most of the hats is called philip treacy hes a celebrated english couture milliner. The lady in blue is not american she is a british "socialite" and her name is tara palmer tompkinson she is friends with prince charles. I agree beatrice's hat was crazy; she is now selling it on ebay everyone was laughing at her

  • Lady Gaga woulda put them all to shame!

  • yes great video mad hats indeed.....

  • You should see the hats of Queen Beatrix from the Netherlands :P BUt i guess everyone has its own taste, and we shouldnt judge about their tastes

  • I was thinking the same thing when I watched the royal wedding...costumes! Some of them were cute but most of them were just over the top...too much for my eyes at 4-5am lol. I was starting to wonder if Cee Lo was going to show up in a peacock ensemble...or maybe he helped some of them pick their hats lol.

  • I like the first two and would wear either of them.

  • thanks for sharing my friend @ VeronicasPlace

the British aristocracy...doing what they do.....

  • @agapikochac LOL. I think they could stand to re-think fashion.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll spot on :)....all plastic and artificial....but then....they can afford this ridiculous extravaganza...:))

  • Interesting documentary.

Great video, where each can form his own opinion.

    Thank you.

    I wish you a wonderful weekend.ღ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ingrid

  • @IngridHexerl You as well. Have a SAFE and happy weekend.

  • I was more confused how the hats stayed on

  • @Freevegascomedy OH MY GOODNESS!!! That is exactly what my nieces and I wondered.

  • Great Video thanks for showing...Those hats..."Oh boy..." really unique and as they say....one of a kind...but what kind?....Some were pretty and some.....heh heh...Thanks for sharing..... .33 interesting on the front.....

  • @EHYEHasherEHYEH1 LOL. I love your comment..."one of a kind, but what kind.'' LOL There was not one hat that I would wear in that bunch.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll I totally agree with your commentary. The only thing I don't agree with you on is the first hat that is shown at the beginning. I think that the hat was beautiful, along with her outfit. I think Lady Devina was one of the better dresser there. Just my opinion of course.

  • @Milton754 Well, of ALL the hats, hers was the most attractive---or least ridiculous! lol

  • The hats were a lot of fun, but isn't a hat supposed to sit on your head. I think many of them are quite pretty and remarkably elaborate but if you look at Posh's hat...it's sitting on the front of her head like a miner's light. Again, it looks nice but when did that become the proper placement for a hat? Does anyone know?

  • @DBTWENTYSIX That is the thing, since fashion is ever evolving, I do not think there is one set way to wear a hat now...the new trend is to defy gravity and let it hang off the side of the head, apparently. LOL To me, they looked a little clowning, but to each its own.

  • im not gonna lie. i kinda like that butterfly hat. id wear it.

  • i literally laughed out loud when you said she stepped out of a DR. suess book haha i do love the color though. Thanks for putting these pics together! I never knew there was such crazy hats going on there.

i did see fergies hat, it looks like a freaking squid. I think this is part of the whole fun though, i believe i remember hearing something about theyre not supposed to take the hats off.

  • @rainonmebi Maybe that was the goal...to be funny. I simply thought it was too much of a distraction. I am certain that instead of getting ''busy'' on their wedding night, those two were laughing at those hats. Now, the blue could have worked---nope nope nope--who am I kidding, it was over kill! LOL

  • They looked like witches to me I was waiting for them to take out there brooms and fly away laughing

  • @MISSMARIE26 LOL. I could not understand HOW they were staying on their heads!

  • They looked real crazy...LOL I grow up in London...They are really crazy...much love..Doll

  • @dollbaby4400 You lived in London??

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll Yes , From age 5 to 17. My parents where Airforce. I met the Queen and saw her Royal diamonds...on a feild trip . this was in the late 60's until & thur. the 70's we did alot of traveling.

  • @dollbaby4400 No wonder you are so cosmopolitan. I have been to Europe many times, but never to London, go figure. I guess next stop is----LONDON!

  • I sooo agree with you..

I was like look at all them "Crazy" Hats..lol

They reminded me when I was young going to church

with all the lades with big hats...

  • @AKIYIAKELLY Yes, some of the ''sisters'' here could give them a run for their money in the hat department.

  • Barbie, what I did wonder about is why President and Mrs. Obama were not invited. I mean, the United States and Great Britain are the seventh, dual world power. I was told that Mrs. Obama hugged the Queen without having permission. This was a disgrace to the monarchy. Do you have any info. on this?

  • At 1:23 and the butterfly hat. . . No!!!

  • I still wondering why where they wearing the hats on there forehaed like that?

  • i loved the hats

they were one of the most interesting things that happened at that wedding

  • @aylix89 HUH??? You even liked Beatrice's hat?? It looked like an angry fall flower turned upside down. Well, I guess some people can appreciate the creativity. To me, they looked clownish.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll i do appreciate creativity and i appreciate a distraction until the wedding commenced my mum and i were acting like the fashion police. but yeah i would rather that than everyone show up in the same thing looking all posh and formal. i love the way everyone was walking in to the church with a straight face like they looked appropriate

  • i saw the wedding... and i truly hated those hats. truly...

  • @avastacia I wonder if some of those women wore those hats for meaness.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll lol, i wonder the same thing...
