Horst's striking photos show a visual poetry and imagination beyond mere refined couture. They are not antiseptic and cold but pulse with life, sensuality, and delight in every bend and curve in the human form.  His subjects are alive and loved even though they are some- times posed into abstractions. Fabulous music perfectly attuned to the visual ex- pression. Wondered if the photos would be seen differently with different music.... probably not. Singular work...Grazie, Andrea!
