My goodness.people here are so worried about whether or not women should have a place on the altar while thousands of priests are molesting little boys and little girls...i just don't get it guys..how could you argue on things that matters less and ignore things that destroy the life, future and dignity of a person?

Just a bunch of hypocrites marching in white garments...after this ordination, molest little boys and girls..what a shame..stop your hypocrisy..

In a recent Associated Press news report carried in the Inquirer, an American woman received a settlement of US$500,000 from the archdiocese of Los Angeles, the largest Catholic archdiocese in the U.S. Rita Milla, now 46 years old, was apparently sexually abused by seven (7) Roman Catholic priests since she was a minor and impregnated by one of them.

Sounds like your self-righteousness has gotten in the way of your heart as well as your reason, "archangel." I think I can hazard a guess as to why you know so much about hypocrisy.

@sindee4EVAH Buddy i know a lot of your secret activities..i have reliable records and statistics of crimes committed by priests and bishops..if you don't know it, then i think you must do a lot of research...i know it because i was once like you..but i quit after knowing the weird things priests and bishops are doing..you cannot blame me boy..i just can't stomach it..im like vomiting..

the title of the hymn is "laudate, laudate dominum" (christopher walker) - commissioned as the millennium hymn for the new cathedral of our lady of the angels, los angeles, ca. we sang this during the chrism mass' preparation of the gifts last year at the cathedral of the annunciation in stockton, ca. totally enjoyed singing the tenor part! hope this helps & peace....

If so, what was she doing there and was this approved by Rome??

If you are talking about the pretty black woman, she is the mc and yes it is approvedby Rome. If you look up information o our Bishop - Ronald Gainer - you will find that he is rightin step with Rome.

@CarlosBarrera393 - She is also Master of Ceremonies for the Diocese of Lexington. Three were used for the ordination. Nothing suspicious about it.

@CarlosBarrera393 Obviously, Carlos, you're not a liturgist. Since the MCs are the logisticians of the liturgy with a bishop, they serve in the sanctuary for the entire celebration and often assist in certain duties in the absence of a deacon. The altar servers and vimps are not clergy either, but are in the procession "with all the clergy." I highly recommend "The Ceremonial of Bishops" (n. 34-36) for further reading.

Women have no place whatsoever on the altar. There is also no place for a liturgist either. The priest is in charge of the mass not Mrs. Wannabe.
