  • I grew up in central Kansas and we listened to WLS at night along with KOMA out of Oklahoma City. Great memories!

  • @trudyjude66 Cool...WLS was a clear channel station so it went out far

  • I lived in Greenwood, MS..with a daytimer 50 miles away...on 900. One night when they signed off, the DJ said up next...Ron Riley!!

Rarely did I ever get to take the "family" car to school...it had a radio...I loved the days I did get to drive it...and even more when WLS would boom in. Great memories.

  • @catman5169 Hey Man, I was a member of Ron Riley's

"Batman Club" back in '66. I lived in Western NC and dug WLS late at night on my old GE clock radio.

  • @Bodie007 As Mary Hopkin would say "Those are the days my friend....I hope they never end",,,,but alas...they have.

  • I grew up in North Wisconsin and we used to get this radio station at night. What memories

  • I grew up with this - more than TV. It was always on
