Simple and clear -

Oli's friend commited suicide, the lyrics (main verse's) were the actual suicide note from his friend, and the chorus "It was written in blood etc, oh my god.. it was written in blood" was because the suicide note that Oli's freind wrote was genuinely written in blood. Im not making up shit, he spoke of this in an interview with some Russian bitch.

This is one of the main reasons I love Oli & BMTH - their songs are so personal and heartbreaking.
