This is in response to cldavis33. I can accept the fact that you like this version of this song, I do as well. And yes there is some major creativity going on there but to slight Dr. Johnson's contribution is not good. I'm a sax player myself and I gain knowledge from all points, even Dr. Johnson, which by the way he is a person I know. To dismiss a pioneer is in poor taste. If it were not for him, there not be alot of guys playing sax in their ministries, just like me. Be blessed my friend.

When I hear praises to God done in criticized, non-traditional genres of music, I cannot help but imagine the melody created by Miriam and the other women who took up tambourines, danced and sang words of thankfulness to the Lord for bringing them safely across the Red Sea.

Or the music created with trumpets and harps when King David danced joyfully at the return of the Ark. I was not gifted with a talent for music but I will combine words in my heart with a beat and sing in thanksgiving!

man, what a shame for somebody to be so ignorant to not be able to distinguish between an asian language, and a romance. (That same person probably would draw a total blank when I refer to Spanish as its root). This is the time when people that paid attention in middle and high school should jump on the bandwagon and help me talk crap about our country's failing public education system.
