  • This song is enough to change my life makes me Wanna be that good person and I'm gonna be

  • I was abused, when i was less than 4, i may not have been a little girl, but i felt all the same, in such emotions... i have sworn apon my soul, that if and when i become a father, i would never let anyone, or do this myself... i swore never to neglect or ignore, and especially abuse them, i wouldn't go as far as to try such a horrible action... i love this song, and i plan to help in anyway i can, either adopting an abused child, or not abusing my own... they need more love than anyone else...

  • I was sexually abused by two family members from a very early age. I remember wishing god would "Call Me Home" so that I could get out of the situation. At forty-four l have left most of this behind me, yet with anger and bitterness I'm still unable to let go. After the slaughter of my innocence I spent many years trying to salvage something from what remained of my fractured soul. May any other searching for the remains of a damaged life find a person as I have who will rebuild your self worth

  • I was abused from the time i was an infant to the time i was almost 2 this song isnt how it happened to me but my father used to beat me then threated my mother if he tried to stop him i was adopted at the age 0f 2 let me tell child abuse tore aprt my family and by the grace of god only am i able to be here to tell my story

  • And some of us become Police Officers to try to help the CHILDREN. I will Always thank God, My Mother and my Grand Parents for their LOVE. If not for their Love, I would have been in the back of the Police Car. There is no doubt in my mind. Thanks for sharing.

  • my mom is hardley in my life i have not seen her in a year my dad has problems

  • I agree

  • Amazing video, what a great song and great way to bring awareness about abuse. You did an amazing job with this.

  • i never new how bad it was

  • I think there should be more likes on this video and who ever disliked it should shut the fuck up and not watch the video if you don't like it.

  • ACtually the hotlines do work cause someone calle dthem on my parents and saved me so thanks to the jackass. Good Job tryign to promote awareness its much appreciated!!!!!

  • Truth

  • I had drunks for parents for 13 years. had a drunk mom for 9 more. Now things are a lot better, but this song hits close to home.

  • U know this is the first time I heard thisvsong it made me cry and still to this day this song makes me cry! Really good song! Don't let what other people say bother u I and some more people would agree this video needs recognition! Thank You!

  • Thank you for posting this. I was abused and raped when I was little. Im an addict...even though I havent been on drugs for a long time (5 years this winter) I will always be one. Ive gotten a lot of help, and Im now going to school for Criminal Justice and Paramedics.

This stuff happens everyday and its never right. It will for ever remain wrong. Im my eyes and the eyes of the lord. Thank you again for making this video about a serious issue. :)

  • @evilass90 congrats for being clean and sober. it takes a lot of work, and it is an every day battle. if no one else tells you, im proud of you. this is a sad song, and as you said it happens every day. only most of the time, CPS doesnt get involved soon enough and the child dies too. makes me sad and sick

  • @skittlesnthings0621 Often CPS doesn't really make things better. They don't do thorough background checks, nor do they check on the child. I was molested by my foster father for over 4 months before my mother regained custody of me, and never once did the social worker come to see how I was doing. I'll admit, I never came forward about it to the authorities, so him not getting in trouble for it is partially my fault. But CPS doesn't care about children. They just want the money.

  • thank you i have been through tihs song so thank you for posting this

  • @eldhardt12 Excuse me, but if you're being negative so that I'll ask you why you're upset, so then we can play pity party for you, go cry somewhere else. I don't like fakes, negative nellys, nor do I like being insulted. Don't you ever call anyone stupid for posting something to raise awareness about a serious issue like this. That hits really close to home, the fact that you're insensitive enough to say something like that to me, a person you don't know who could've been through a lot, is sad.

  • @MagickNinjaCupcake16: 1-800-4-A-CHILD didn't save me at all. I was beaten so badly I couldn't walk it hurt to breath (three broken ribs and some internal injuries) I could't sit. I was taken to the hospital I was covered with bruises I had no idea where I was all I felt was pain. The ones who "helped" talked to me in FRONT of the very same bastard who put me into the hospital. My grandmother was the one who saved me. SHE to me is my guardian angel and always will be.

  • @MagickNinjaCupcake16: I do not hate this video but 1-800-4-A-CHILD was called so many times for me and they failed every single time. If the person who came to help me had only talked to me ALONE then things would have been different. Even the police failed me when I called them when my step father beat my mom. I was called a liar and I told them to go inside and look at my mom....they just laughed and drove away and I got a beating.

  • @eldhardt12 You don't like it, don't come to my videos. I don't care how badly you want to look like an insolent, insensitive little banshee on the internet. Don't call me stupid for posting about a serious issue I believe in. I have an opinion and the fact that you tried to put me down shows me that you're insecure because you have none.

  • @eldhardt12 They may not always work, but as a wise man once said "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" -Edmund Burke

It is always worth a try to help a child.

  • Haha no problem. It's just that my adopted friend was raped from the time she was two to the time she was nine and no one cared to stop it. Her mom walked in one time and she just blinked and took a drink of her beer....

  • @MagickNinjaCupcake16: I agree that kids slip through the grips of people trying to save them. Like I said 1-800-4-A-CHILD didn't help me but my grandma caught me her grip was strong enough. If someone from child serves would just talk to the child alone without the abuser near they could save that kid.

  • @MagickNinjaCupcake16 O god..... Im so sorry!

  • thank u for posting this!

  • wow, ty for posting this :) its good for people to know the numbers and percentages. i hope there is less child abuse from this "anonymous hotline" , and i'll make sure to call it if i see it happening :)
