I have been a Flair mark since 1980. I watched the first televised bout Ric had against Sting on World Wide Wrestling a week or two before the famous Cash of Champions match & I knew this guy was a star. The week before,Sting interrupted a 4 Horseman "celebration" that was going on & put J.J. in the Scorpion Deathlock. In the match Flair was supposed to be giving payback to Sting. That wasn't the case though as Sting dominated Ric for 20 minutes & had him in the Scorpion when T.V. time expired.
Am I hard of hearing or is this impossible to hear because the volume is too low? I have my speakers at 100% and the youtube volume all the way turned up.
here were two guys, bordan and hellwig and both of them have admited that neither of em were big fans of wrestling growing up, yet sting seemed to have more natrual ability and was always trying to improve himself and warrior just simply got by on his looks and 50 yard dash to the ring impressions, now hellwig has zero interest in the business and is pretty much considered the asshole of the wrestling industry and sting is still respected by his peers and is considered one of the best ever
When they were doing the training scene with Bassman, they should've had someone with crazy hair and face paint talking about raging elephants, stars, destrucity and queers.
I like sting but wtf! this movie is so damn cheesy.bad acting at its best. I hope they give sting a better movie some day.Stings ok in tna but great in wcw when he didnt talk.
well sting's was canceled cause he resigned with tna and at the time it was planned no one was sure if he was done with tna or not. so u shouldnt blame vince for not wanting to spotlite a guy whose working for a rival competition, as for savage... hell no one is sure what bug vince has up his ass against macho man these days
Even though they now own WCW footage, they would need Sting's authorization if they made a dvd of him...Otherwise, Sting could sue them. Remember, Sting owns the "Sting" name.
okay so they can make dvds with him on it (like when they put him on ric flair's ultimate collection, i think it was called that) but they couldn't make a dvd of his own?
LoL note to bad acting in 3:30 when Sting is benching...the girl who spots him manages to lift up that 150 plus lbs. bar as if it were paper. Just a funny thing I noticed
they never try to hide it retard, and technically its not fake, its choriographed, u cant fake getting smashed through plywood after a 25 ft drop while on fire
Does anyone know the name of the song playing in this segment? I quite like it. :)

God, half the movie is just random shots of California. It's just The Hills for God's sake.

why is this Sting's true life story, his story in the biz, with the real crap that happened 2 make his career become famous but it's TNA
KhaoZKrossiX 3 years ago
Sting was popular LOOOONG before TNA bro. Sting is a legend of the NWA from the mid 80's, right through WCW's tenure, and now in TNA.

This movie is about a book that sting wrote about his life, wrestling, and his conversion to Christianity.
faithgrace777 4 years ago 2
What was the name of the book? Moment of Truth like the movie?
dickies112 4 years ago
Yes... I think he wrote it either right before or right after WCW ended.

irresistibleforce 4 years ago
you got that right. if it does happen then this will actually be a nice suprise

chriskoob 3 years ago
still they own wcw's footage so they should come out with a sting dvd no matter who he works for.
as for savage, vince (i'm guessing) is still pissed about him leaving wwe for wcw a fuckin decade ago
irresistibleforce 3 years ago 2
Even though they now own WCW footage, they would need Sting's authorization if they made a dvd of him...Otherwise, Sting could sue them. Remember, Sting owns the "Sting" name.
StrongLifeForce 3 years ago
thats true but i'm sure they could find some way around that.
irresistibleforce 3 years ago
no they cant
synnfan 3 years ago
yup and warrior doesnt!
ghost2897 3 years ago
no they cant unless sting sais they can cause he owns his name
synnfan 3 years ago
okay so they can make dvds with him on it (like when they put him on ric flair's ultimate collection, i think it was called that) but they couldn't make a dvd of his own?

ric flair is owned by wwe
synnfan 3 years ago
i think ric flair owns his name...either way the point i was making was that sting was used on that dvd.
irresistibleforce 3 years ago
ric flair was owned by wwe back then. and maybe he was on it because him and ric are friends
synnfan 3 years ago
no smart business man would do that. i think this "debate" is over cuz its really not getting us anywhere.
