Lots of people have been killed in accidents,countless children have been neglected & lived in poverty because their parents never did anything productive. Lots of people get paranoid & it complicates mental illnesses. I don't think it should be illegal because laws don't prevent use & you should be allowed to put what you want in your body but to say it is harmless is delusional. You think the gov is poisoning food. Could I make a point there?

I dunno if anyone caught this, about the rats. If you have lab rats that has THC in their system, and then have them stick their noses for more dosage of THC, but instead itz heroin, The rat obviously expects and wants more THC, but scientist keeps feedin em heroin... and then say, yea it does lead to other drugs. If that was the case how come "John" the pothead that has been tokin for 17yrs isnt a heroin addict? Dr. Goldberg must've gotten paid really well huh? Lmao. plz correct me if im wrong
@Kancer687 well i think they say that weed doesnt lead to harder drugs but makes the rats more tolerant to the first doses of heroin...so until they have to make an effort and show if they actually had become addicted to heroin they would take a little bit more heroin than the other rats cause they r more tolerant and they cant feel the effects....thats what i get....correct me if im wrong!

It was to see if the rats previously exposed to pot would want more heroin than those not previously exposed. lol They were not giving the rats marijuana for sticking their noses in previously. In other similar studies the rats food had MJ in it so I presume that was the case here. Basically, they were not expecting THC by sticking their noses in. It was simply to see if those exposed to MJ earlier would seek more heroin later
Seems biased to me. The schizophrenia sufferer, for example, may have become schizophrenic in any case. It's a leap between immature mice and humans as well. This only indicated a possibility that needs to be tested. For the commentator to say that cannabis may cause people to waste their lives is again just an unsubstantiated opinion. There was also little comparison to legal drugs such as alcohol and tobacco, which are very harmful and kill a lot of people. Overall, I'd say a lame try.
@carolbodiford You sound like your so much in denial.. this is coming from an everyday weed smoker. Weed can do bad things to you, but it also relies on your core personality. I always told people my view of weed was the following: It amplifies everything 10x over.
So your likely to go down a certain road, weed may be the catalyst leading you there.
I personally wasted many opportunities because I just wanted to get high. Do I blame weed? No I blame myself.
