This song is written by Mike Batt. The song is a track from the Bonus Edition of Piece by Piece from Katie Melua. I like the version of Katie more than this one.
@lifeis4mileycyrus Your teacher has much wisdom. ABBA was the perfect storm. Each member brought a unique talent to the group. Together they conquered the world.
@frapistat Hey this is cool rendition by Agnetha. My Frined, Thanks for uploading it. Can someone send her a pm and ask if she can record on her next album/CD her version of "In Dreams" the old Orbison hit i think will really suit her....
@tenniscollector That would be a good song for Agnetha since she always sang with her emotion, just like Roy. I'll try to find her e-mail and send her your request. ;o)
@frapistat Thanks Friend. Please be sure to let me know what the reply is. I'm sure she'll do a superb rendition, In the meantime you may want to check my channel re. Rare Roy songs.
What a pity Agnetha F. never got the solo career her unique voice (and complex personality) deserved... Her part in 'Abba' took up most of her best years, and most her energy. Yet- even today (and she's now 60), her voice with its sensitive, accomplished inflections : they're still here. Her talent' s untouched- better, even- now that's she mellowed, and gone 'deeper' than in her Abba days.
Che bello, Agnetha ha fermato il tempo nel 1975. La sua voce e' rimasta la stessa, anzi, ancora piu' bella. Sei la numero 1 Agnetha . E lo sarai sempre.
This is sung by Agnetha Faltskog (original ABBA member). The song was written by Micheal Batt. This piece is from Agnetha's 2004 "my colouring book" album.
@lifasal I think this song tells of the anguish that's from her past and some in her present. Still beautiful, but wish their was a way to mend her broken heart. At least she has her children still to love, and try to go on with.
It's unbelievable, when I listen to this song, I could have sworn we are somewhere in 1974. Her voice is still as fresh, sweet and moving as ever. I hope she knows how many people adore her.
It's amazing, Marie, she is a time machine. I hope she knows her fans will never let her go. Can we get enough of her angelic song...I do not think so. Thanks Marie, I enjoyed your comment.
Not a song I would pick for motivational developement, John. And for the hug and cuddles, thats me behind you in line. Thanks for stopping by and visiting
To see the anguish on her face, you just have to think the hurt is still very fresh in her heart and will always be there....this was a great video Rob, thank you for posting it!
Thats what I"ve always thought was so amazing about Agnetha, she would share her heart with you through angelic song and tugging physical expression. Thanks for your great comment, Jim, it is very insightful.
Many thanks , Rob. Just finished watching. Your other version is great, but having Aggy filling up my laptop screen edge to edge with this awesome performance is the creme de la creme. BTW, I guess wishes do come true ;);) HAGD, Harold
gosh, her voice is ever the bit amazing today as it was 30 years ago..incredible!!
I wish she would do a couple duets with some male singers, but, unfortunately, I cannot think of any of 'today's' male singers whose voice would compliment her..but she sings harmonies so well it sure would be a treat!!
Ohhh... Karen, she is magnificent ,you know who would compliment her... Frida . These girls were ABBA. Can you imagine if they got together today...it would be a killer album. Thanks for looking in.
Shay, this performance just rips my heart out to see the agony in her face. Her expression really plays through in this song. And what, my friend, are you doing up so early, hmm? Thanks, Shay, I always love your comments.

Well, Katie Melua had an incredibly beautiful voice, but was definitely too young to sing this song then.
Agnetha did it perfectly, there's no doubt about it.

@ronaldmeijernunspeet
Mike Batt had written it for a (real or imaginary?) drama about Marilyn Monroe (but it was not used).
Imagine Marilyn is sitting on her bed on the last day, before taking those deadly pills, and singing this song...
Impressive.
