And any Robo worth the bionic arm would be able to set up FAR faster than that. Which is why they CAN merely follow the robot: they're good enough to set up quickly and effectively while on the move.
@AstartesBlackTemplar You... do realize this footage is from the beta, and that a lot of things like build times, character levels, etc were different from what they are now, right?
@aaeriele Beta? I doubt that. I PLAYED beta, and that is NOT the HUD I had. Sorry. Don't get me wrong, most of the advice is correct and useful. I disagree only with not following the robot. Clump, no. Follow from cover and support, yes.
@AstartesBlackTemplar I played all the way from alpha through months into release; this is indeed from end of beta/right before launch date. The video was *uploaded* on Feb 1st, 2010, which is the same day that GA actually launched. So it'd be sort of hard for it to have been from any /later/ than beta.
@aaeriele OK, fine, whatever. I didn't play GA near the end of Beta, as I had changed PCs and hadn't downloaded yet, so I'll admit that maybe I missed a transitional phase. But that is still not the beta HUD I remember.

You can always pause the video if you need more time to read the text - the realtime duration of the text is mostly correlated with what it's relevant to.
Most of the game is available for a 1-time box cost ("regular" PvP and PvE are both free once you buy the box). There is an optional subscription portion of the game that introduces another type of PvP which is oriented around agencies (read: guilds) and competition between them - sort of like EVE's 0.0-sec territory control. What you see here, though, is part of the non-subscription portion. You don't have to sub for this.
@LORDIVALDE It's actually both. You can buy to play and get access to the majority of the games features. Or you can choose to pay per month and gain guild battles and a few other stuff. I think you need to p2p to get crafting.

Amazing. When that first guy running the bot would have ran so much as towards the enemy spawn, I'd have turned around and left him to die.
You even gave him friendly advice. Very admirable.
(also, got to love people just running into your turret as if they are blind)
