Heart determination to finish the race I say, he kept pushing no matter how much heart broken he lost that day. As he limped around the track, his father came waving to the medic to please get back..the son was in tears and in so much pain, the world will never forget the father and son 92 Olympic games. Never quit no matter what you do, this is an example of determination to follow through. They are winners in my book, I'm proud to say, It just a reminder, to always finish & never quit noway!
He might not have won that race.. but he won the hearts of the millions there.. and he has enspired the billions that watched all over the world... that makes him a winner in my book! ;)
@SupraEdomiteSlayer Still obsessed with black men huh, you little bizarre racist ass fagoot.? Derek Redmond? Id thought you'd have better taste than that. You seem more like a Shaquille Oneil type.
The pain isn't as bad as knowing he lost his chance. Years of training just to run one race and its taken from him and he knows he won't get it back. That had to hurt more than the physical pain.
imagine how broken hearted you'd be if this happened to you.........Derek Redmond is a great man for getting up and finishing the race despite his injury
i bet that hurt so bad!!! but thats alot of mental touphness to not go like most people would a jus lay there and b carried off.. he finished that thing!!!
I posted this on another version of this video, but seeing his father's tenacious devotion to his son made me actually applaud. This was a truly beautiful Olympic performance
i second that... one of the greatest pieces of history commented on my a complete dick. BTW just so u no most people can do it well under a minute u fat slob
I cried :(
