  • just done this thanks

  • Yer dat mite work on 14mm hub wheel but my e-revo crews out 14mm hubs and blows tyres off the rim yes it would work on a mild powered car but not on a high powered car and the blance would be way out and it looks like crap no offence

  • Or Glue hard foam inserts in the tyres

  • 2:12 the tire looks like a face

  • @bassplace88 DJMEDiC is better than jang man.....no offence intended

  • The wheel balance is going to suck....... use super glue instead or spend 5 dollars to get tire mounting glue

  • could pump it full of that expanding foam, it would be lighter, but very ridgid

  • @aForkandaSpoon Yes good idea

  • I bet its strong glue, but since it foams it can be unpredictable, the wheel balance has to be horrible. Nothing wrong with reusing wheels, but I wonder if acetone would remove PU or not. My advise is to listen to "Jang" on Ultimate RC. He uses CA and a lot of it if necessary. Jang is the man when it comes to RC!

  • @bassplace88 Yh, but i shave down the foaming so its all good ;)

  • @dano2website no its not all good, that glue is not for tires. you dont know what your talking about

  • Pretty sure they make non-foaming Gorilla glue nowadays. lol

  • That's why they make "Tire Glue"

Why the hell would you dump that Gorilla Glue all over your shit?

  • @poopdogsays

This was strictly for 3s lipo velenion geared high. All other glues wouldn't hold. However you are right for other less powerful vehichles Tires Glue is good.

  • @dano2website Your telling me tire glue won't hold? I've never heard that one before. I have 1/5 scales that have tires that weigh over 2 pounds each (FG M/T) and I've never had problems with tire glue failing. They are capable of speeds well over 50.

Maybe your failing glue was from the mold release still on the tires from the factory? I've just never heard of anyone using Polyurethane glue on nylon wheels.

Best of luck to ya, glad you found something that works for you.

  • @dano2website try proline CA tire specific glue, that stuff held my 2.8 talon on and i ballooned it over a foot and it only blew a small hole in the bead. it basically bonds the 2 materials

  • @dano2website Though you said this is for all tires

  • @MegaRallycar yes it is for all tires that have a problem with ballooning. If you have a ballooning tire than this will definitly stop it from ballooning. The person that i replied to was talking about the glue i used to put back on the tire which you can chose whichever glue you want to put back on ur tire.

  • @dano2website Best glue for brushless trucks,But instead of the tape use the foam from the stock tire. Works perfect on sand paddles.

  • But you will still be able to see it . I would still use someother glue. That's just me.

  • @Whitney1426

Yes, next time i'm going to use a clear glue however if your using LiPOs than a powerful foaming glue will help to keep the wheels on where as other glues will fall right off when you hit 55mph

  • I would not use that gule. It is very good gule but after it foams up it all over your rim.

  • @Whitney1426

Yeah i explained that if you use Gorilla Glue than you must use a knife to cut the foam.
