@shitflinger also, regarding restoration, try lowering how much the spell heals initially and increase the duration. example. heal 33 points for 3 seconds = 99 points overall. every second the spell is active, restores 33 points of health, and lowers the required skill level.

at higher lvl you can get daedric armor which looks cool, orcish armor is also one of my favorites

and if you dont like the way they look either theres still a crap load of light armor you can try

dwarven doesnt look too bad without the helmet either

just find something you like the look of and if its too weak enchant it

also when your restoration is 100 you can heal anything, depending on your magicka

i dont know what youre complaining about regarding restoration..if you can only heal a little per spell just cast it a few times. also with 100 restoration your only limit is your magicka so you can make ridiculously powerful healing spells

about character customization...thats just not true. maybe your not good at creating characters but that doesnt mean the system sucks

This wasn't well thought out at all. The first half was pre-made by the Bethesda staff and the rest was just... Lame. It's easy to copy and paste for filler, and the storyline is just kill and join the Dark Brotherhood. Gonna be honest and say that you'll have to try harder to earn more fan following, especially from people who know real machinima.

recoiling from everything is just a matter of timing and its only logical you need 100 restoration for a 100 point healing spell..to make a good healing spell youll need a high restoration, what sucks about that?

If you want to extend your Oblivion experience, I would suggest you a mod (PC players only). It's called Nehrim, and it's free. This mod has been developped by german modders in the last 4 years. It is not an usual mod: it is a total remake of the game; different universe, different characters, different in-game music, leveling system, etc And I think that Nehrim is actually BETTER than Oblivion.. You can download the mod on their website (just google Nehrim)

I highly recommend it to you all

@MrHentaination No offense, but I've never encountered a problem with any mod. To be honest Bethesda put mod support into Oblivion just like they did with Fallout 3 and New Vegas. If you want to blame anyone for the use of mods blame Bethesda. At least they know that people like to have user created things. Plus if you're getting slow down from mods you may want to check out your PC. It probably isn't good enough to run a bunch of mods. Without mods you wouldn't have all these great Machinimas.

I personally don't want to see the Elder Scrolls branching into multiplayer. It would be so hard for them to retain their almost unique feel in the gaming world. If it was made into an MMO it would most likely be a World of Warcraftesque piece of crap, but I CAN imagine it being a small scale multiplayer game (along the lines of L4D's 4 player group) but even that would be incredibly difficult to piece together.

I hope that TES V will be more complex, complete with in game politics.
