Very clean and very fast but horrible vibrato technique. Also a bit to "clinical" for my taste. Don't get me wrong he plays way better than I do so I guess it's just a matter of taste.

Gentaro is a decent guitarist. He plays well and can replicate his songs live. The only peeve I have with him is that he lacks emotion when playing. There are a good handful of shredders out there today and Gentaro is no different from the majority. Practice and repetition seems to be what encompasses his music. More feeling and diversity would separate him from the mediocre. Until then, he is nothing special in terms of virtuoso level.

People should be able to wear what they want to, and play the kind of music that they want without having people accusing them of being "a fag" or anything else you call them. If they want to wear leather and make up and dye their hair theres nothing wrong with them, it doesn't make them gay, they're only doing what they like.

@substantialjames You forgot to mention paul gilbert, zakk wylde, or yngwie malmsteen... :). and no, if you learn to play with good technique, and not be lazy to use your pinky, anyone can play that fast. Practice. But usually most beginners just find it easier to practice without the pinky, and therefore can never get fast, and all other technique goes down the drain along with sweep picking. Theres my advice for newbies :)
