  • Its definitely not the same beat. It may sound similar but definitely not the same. I can promise you that, so calm down.

  • i think lloyd sounds and looks like a girl! LOL

  • J.Holiday Didnt Steal This Song The Writer & Producer Wrote Both Songs His Name Is Jasper Cameron He Wrote Player's Prayer & Pimp In Me

  • usually producers have the same sounding songs if they stick to their style. Like Bryan Michael Cox he produced Circles and Ride For You for Marques Houston and Danity KAne and they are exactly alike.

  • I like J. Holiday's more *shrugs*

  • its not stealin the person who made the beat sold it to two different people n that happens wen a beat isnt exclusive so obvously lloyds broke ass couldnt afford it lol j. holiday did the beat better

  • J. Cameron produced both songs

  • @sconiers08 yup!!! i was just about to say the same thing

  • I said that both of the songs sound the same when i first heard them. And whats crazy is the name of the songs. Players Prayer and Pimp In Me

  • Comment removed

  • @sexililthang1 bith was mad by the same person jasper cameron

  • i have 2 say dat i like both of the songs. an yes dey do sound da same, however its not J. Holiday's fault dat da song sound da same. It's da person dat wrote it an his name is J. Cameron an da ppl dat mixed it. so its not sound stealin. its kinda like sampling it. many artist do it. has it eva occured 2 u dat maybe da [ppl dat wrote an mixed dis song like lloyd song an jus sampled da beat an made dey own song abouit it

  • i havent read all the comments so someone might have said this already BUT..

the reason the songs sound similar is because they were both written and produced by jasper cameron, whos a producer part of Street Love and helped produce and write a lot of stuff for Lloyd. thats the reason why the songs are about the same things as well as the similar beats. he also did Its yours by j holiday and have my baby by lloyd.. hence the similarities again.. lol

  • you ppl are hilarious duh dey goin to sound the same because LLOYD wrote the songs u ass holes like duh

  • lloyd didnt write da song.

a guy named J. Cameron did.

  • the same people wrote player's prayer and pimp in me, so i think that is why they sound so similar.

  • sad

  • wow that's crazy for realz

  • they got two more songs that sound

    similar

    lloyd:please have my baby

    &

    j holiday:It's Yours

  • Well, first off...neither ONE of them jocked or stole anything from each other. They just happen to work with the same producer which was "Jasper Cameron". If anybody wants to point fingers, it should be at the producer for all his shit sounding so similar.

  • Lol wow i thought i was the only one that noticed this!!! Both of them r great singers but i'ma have 2 go wit that PLAYER'S PRAYER.... sorry j holiday :)

  • J Holiday's Pimp in me sounds way better than Lloyd's Player's Prayer, but they both are talented. J Holiday was doing his thing way before his album came out so of course haters think he copied Lloyd! Truth is there are plenty of different versions of songs out there, it's up to you who's best. I love J Holiday's music, so I'm going with him!

  • your gonna always hear similarity in songs because ther's only so many ways to make beats and sounds so i dont think it was purposly done plus lloyds song is better and he's the finest man on earth he dont have 2 bite j holiday out of all people to bite from!

  • STOP it!NOBODY listens 2 reggae?they have 5 or 10 songs to the same beat..or riddim as it is called..so what if it is the same ..the words are different..its a personal choice on who u like better..imitation is the biggest compliment!!!

  • YH YH thts is . The artist dont own the beats and stuff its the guy who made the riddim , he can do what he wants wit it . so he obviously thought they both rocked the beat . i think so 2 . yummy . Lloyd

  • Hell NaW LLoyds Song Players Prayer CAme Out B4 J HOlliDays Did Nd PLus It WAs PRoduced By the Same People Yall JUst HAtin CUz Lloyd Is Hella SExier And CAn SIng WAy BEtter Then MR. Hollidey........REply 2 this

  • Lloyd and j.holiday r both good singaz just different but lloyd's song was out b4 j's

  • holidays version is better but they do sound a lot alike.

  • wowowow this song and players prayer sound same as the song "PLEASE EXCUSE MY HANDS:. they just wanna talk lalalalalalal u know it jammie fox

  • its the same sound and the same song but young lloyd just did it his own way and sung with different words

  • yahl all gatz a point. but i thank pimp in me is better. but they du kinda sound alike but dey aint. nd plies duz start off likedem 2. lolz.. oh well. dey all sound gud doe!

  • I like Lloyd's song better than J.Holiday. all the way but they sort of sound like each other @ the beginning.

  • J.Holiday "Pimp In Me"

    Llyod "Players Prayer"

    Plies "Please Excuse my hands"

    All these sound alike

BUT its NOT called song stealing.

Blame whom ever Sold them the Beats.

  • U rite. Artists today bite each other alot. Nitty gave Yung Joc a beat them next thing u kno sumbody else got the same beat he made.

  • hahahahahaha !!

it`s the same song, thats true, it`s a rob !!

...but also its true that many songs are based in older songs... in the "street love" album (lloyd), almost every song its a cover from pop songs of the 80`s, like "You" (Spandau Ballet - "True"), "Get it Shawty" (Technotronic - "Pump Up The Jam") or "I Dont Mind" (Yes - "Owner of a Lonely Heart") (some effects)...

...maybe we dont know wich is the original song for this similar songs.

  • I think if you're listen to the beginning of the song you would think it's the music is the same but they are differnt.

  • its two different beats and it might sound like it but its not...listen to the beat ppl...players prayer is btter than pimp in car...its not called stealin its just called a song that sounds alike from the otha

  • lloydz version is much better

  • oh wow. they are worlds apart lol. get an ear for music.

  • Nu Uh this was produced By Jasper camron there like producers but also lloyds freinds ...lloyds sooo muchh betterrr than j

  • Please excuse my hands by Plies sounds like these too!!!

  • It really is not the serious, but Lloyd's song is a thousand times better. In my opinion he is a better artist than J.Holiday. Then agian Lloyd is my only favorite male singer....So I'm sayn dat Player's Prayer is better.

  • so wat if it sounds da same. its proly produced by da same person. j holiday aint steal nuffin, plus, even if he did steal it, his album woulda got pushed bakk 4 trying 2 put that on there and he woulda got sued bii lloyd n his peeps so...

I LOVE U J, KEEP DOIN YA THANG, DAS MA BOO. MA #1

  • uhhh yeahh j. holidayy was def. bitin offfaa myy baby lloyd

    players prayer is wayyyyy better

    && its ORiGiNAL!

  • that happens a lot in the music business. Ras Kass and Jadakiss fought over the "we gon make it" beat cause Alchemist sold it to both of them @ the same time (Alchemist still does it from time to time). Same with Cam'Ron's "come home wit me" beat, it was also on Ghostface Killah's album around the same time. Many producers do it.

  • its not stealing....whoever made the beat sold it to two different artists....it can happen.....not that serious...

  • they are 2 completely different beats. the person who made this video is talking about similar melody.

    yes they sound VERY alike

  • the reason these beats sond similar is because it's prodcued by the same person

  • **sound

  • **produced...

  • Mmm If It Was Stealing Wouldnt It Be The Same Beat And Lyrics ?

  • I love Young Lloyd's shirt at 1:47 the t-shirt

with the green part showing has photos of Jim Morrison of the Doors on it. Cool very cool.

  • i love pimp in me way better and plus it doesnt really matter cuz his girl ashanti used so many other people songs so whats the point?

  • wat are the names of this songs? =]

  • lloyd recorded the song and put it out WAY before j.holiday "bed" made it hit J Holiday is a bitter

  • Who cares. Neither of the songs are original anyway.

  • This post shows how young and dumb you are, many artist use the same melody but change the words, if this is your first time hearing this type of thing you are green,,

  • does it matter? dey both sound good

  • shit they both make think about tha love of my life so it dnt matter ta me

  • lol, when the song firsts comes on in my itunes, i dont know which one it is, lol, but i likem both.

  • they both good songs so why it matter

  • where's the problem, it's just the same sample

  • lloyd izz da mann.......

  • hey, you should get two of these songs and mix it then post it on you tube.

  • its not song stealing really is it they were both produced by jlack ushers younger brother its very common

  • foreal? that boy has skills.

  • No I HAVE BOTH OF THESE ALBUMS THEY ARE BOTH PRODUCED BY J. CAMERON!!! BOTH NICE SONGS THOUGH...BUT SINCE I HEARD PLAYERS PRAYER FIRST AND SINCE IT CAME OUT FIRST(March 07) AND ALSO SINCE I LOVE ME SOME LLOYD LOL I'LL PICK PLAYER'S PLAYER OVER PIMP IN ME ANY DAY! =)

  • i thought they sounded the same the first time i heard it to but who cares they both sexy lol! they need to get trey songz and make the hottest track ever!!!

  • so wut . producers use beats from other artists all the time . it all depends on what they want. take lil wayne for instance, he's always using other pplz beats but his sonqs r still hits, wut does it matter if j.holiday's sonq has the same beat as lloyd's .

  • that's the same thing i was thinking when i heard pimp in me. but b4 players pray was my song. now pimp in me is my ish. but lloyd's cd bangs harder than j's

  • Yeah i thought that to! I love both songs. Probably the same producer.

  • wow thats so true

  • OMG i thought da same thing when i listen ta these songs..

i thought they sounded the same way and always get soo confused when i hear lloyd and j holidays song

  • SWAGGER JACKER

  • SoNG STeaLiNG?

    No

    SaMe PRoDuCeR?

    YeS

    THe CHoRDS aRe DiFFeReNT

    BuT Yo0H RiGHT

    THeY Do SouND THE SaME

  • fCukk song stealing ,, they're both hot with great voices =]

  • It's all R&B. Obviously its the same song. Jodeci covered Lately by Stevie Wonder. Brittany spears covered my perogative by Bobby Brown. Producers sample certain parts of old songs. Dr. Dre and Snoop's Ain't nuttin but a G' Thang's beat was sampled from an old smooth jazz cut back in the 70's. Bow Wow and Omarion's song Jumpoff was sampled from LL Cool J's Goin Back To Cali. J holiday's Version was better, in my opinion. This video was completely pointless. You need to understand music

  • they were produced by the same producer in the same year

of course the style would be similar

  • lloyd had it first no j holiday lloyd came in march j hoilday came in september i think. lloyd had this

  • Its the producers fault not lloyd or j.holiday's, he first produced song for lloyd and then turned right around and gave it to j. holiday too. At 1st I thought j.holiday was a song stealer, but I did a lil research and found that its the producer jasper cameron

  • J Holiday is garbage, dude if thats all you gotta sing about is a chic, then you're a waste of talent. Thats does sound like players prayer but with different sounds & chords. He sing it just like sound because I compared it in cool edit pro 2.1. Oh yeah Im a producer so I would know these thing

  • J.holiday's pimp in me is WAAAAAAY betta

  • These songs are completely different they don't sound alike none at all to me but thats just my personal opinion

  • they're singing about the same thing but the songs dont sound the same

  • yea they sound the same but pimp in me is better

  • and its not the same beat...

im a music major... the songa are nothing but similar... same concept....

    similar chords.... diffrent songs....

not different words... but totally different songs

  • two diffrent songs

  • I like J~Holiday song better

  • the same guy more than likely produced both songs...but i LOVE pimp in me

  • LLOYD BETTER

  • i mean i like j.holiday better

  • Yea they do sound a like but who cares? because they both making money with or with out you but i like llyod better

  • You right girl they do sound the same. ( I like Lloyd's better)

  • OMG, when i first heard pimp in me, i was like, wtf!! why does it sound like PLayers prayer, and yeh i did the same that you did i played them at the same time lmao i was like WTF but yeh there awsome songs. i like lloyds better though XD

  • yo how ya b duin dat..teach mi.!!.

  • same thing i said..diz man iz a bitter

  • i like pimp in me better i don't care that j holiday took llyod's beat alot of artist do that so idk

  • Yea I think they are the same but they could have had an agreement about the beat but pimp in me is a better song but I also like Players prayer

  • Yea they do

  • YEA THEY FAVOR!

  • haha snowmankash is an earless retard.. they sound very similar, but i like pimp in me better, but players prayer is a big tunee too

  • they don't sound alike....retards

  • J Holiday is better! there's no comparison

  • lloyd is killin j holiday...what iz yall talkin bout

  • the person who made this video doesn't have a life so find one

  • this person who replied it does the same thing

  • Cant deny Lloyd's talent but J.Holiday one up'd him in vocally and in lyrics and I can listen to pimp in me more but Lloyd iz dope to but you can only blame the producers for givin them the same beat and lyrics because I doubt Holiday was like Imma steal Lloyds song and do it on the same beat and sing the same in melody and then watch no one notice the difference, I doubt that, c'mon so lets not get ignorant to the situation on youtube

  • Both of dem hot songs just like "Fdotldot" said the songs were writtin and produced by the same dude

  • understandable that both songs sound alike seeing as both were written and produced by the same person (Jasper Cameron)

  • it don't make no difference to me...I

  • i lyk both songz...they both sing about something real instead of ass and titties and people seem 2 enjoy them both...the songz i mean...not the ass and titties...lol

  • i like them both very much. he also has the same beat as omarion from "slow dancing" from omarions 1st album on his song "Fatal" I dont think he stole nothing..the producers must of gave him the beat, the artist dont own the beats the producers do.

  • J. holiday killed him vocally when you comapare the two to keep it real no mater who came out first but lloyd iz dope too tho

  • Well obviously you like lloyd's better 'cuz ur acting all foolish and crazy over it.

  • Don't be tryna start arguements over youtube. You could have just said it in a diplomatic way. Now fall back.

  • yea, pimp in me does sound betta.. but both songs r gd

  • Yeah, they sound a lot alike but Pimp In Me sounds better.
