Ben is better than Dirk for so many reasons.

1. Writes his own basslines, where as Mike wrote Dirks.

2. Can play almost any instrument which helps out the creative process.

3. Can play more than 1 style, and is much much more versatile.

4. His vocals are tremendous, watch the warmth live at red rocks.

5. Can glide over a bass guitar, and create melodic basslines as well as rocking out. Dirk was always agressive and thumped the bass guitar nearly all the time.

well, no help there redeeming their previous CD Light Grenades. the song 'Dig' was sensational, but i just couldn't get into the rest, it being all pop-punkish

It was the same at the Hollywood Bowl ... im so used to seeing them play to a crowd that REALLY loved them but it seemed like the people just didnt give a shit ... so disappointing in that aspect but INCUBUS WAS INCREDIBLE i really loved listening to them ... and i think the reason they didnt have any personality like they usually do is because they had very limited time to play ... and they looked EXTREMELY tired
