You said it!Not to say all remixes are bad it's just quite often whatever was special of the original is washed away when its turned into some dance track that just repeats words over and over,sometimes it works and sometimes or often it does not.I find remixes more tolerable if I found the original lacking e.g. Stranger in Moscow by Michael Jackson,don't care for it but the remix had more life in it at least

To add, a better example of a good remix,I find DJ Sammy's slow version of Heaven really boring but the dance version definitely is more enjoyable to listen to for me

i think for me the sexual nature of the song comes from Sarah's voice... it's so raw and yet, soft. i agree with you, it's has a deep feeling to it, even spiritual. i just feel the passion of the song.. i hear her voice. it's very powerful.
