You could use a lot more animation and character. In casual conversation, those line's would be great, but you're by yourself onstage, so you need to overexagerate every little movement.
A little more animation would've made this even better though.
Just remember it's a musical, so you need lots of character- especially for this song.
If you were simply performing the song (with no storyline or anything), not too much character is expected, but make sure you act out the character through choreography a little bit- especially in a musical.
You have a really good singing voice to back it up, so just work on adding a little bit of emotion =]
omg i go to a BHS and we did Bye Bye Birdie this year, but i got so scared, i thought that this was our performance!
